The whole process has not been without it challenges (not through any fault linked to Gus I would hasten to add) but, from start to finish, Gus has endeavoured to ensure the process has ran as smoothly as possible. After being badly let down by a previous estate agent with their terrible service regarding the sale of my house in Barwell, I was feeling rather daunted going through the process again with another estate agent. However, I was recommended to Gus Critchlow @ EweMove, Hinckley by several people so I needn't have worried. From him picking up the sale of my house to the end, Gus was very proactive, very professional and kept me informed of the sale progress. Gus also communicated regularly with the buyers in a friendly manner throughout the entire process. Gus even gave me a lovely gift box containing wine, sweets & biscuits when the sale was finalised. Our recent house sale was the second time we’ve had dealings with Gus Critchlow at EweMove Hinckley, the first being the sale of the Mother in Law’s house following her demise. However, this time we went for broke, after deciding to find somewhere quieter following our retirement from the rat race! Without doubt, Gus has provided the most professional and honest views of the in’s and out’s during the process of selling our house. He always kept us up to date with regards to the interest in our house and managed to find a buyer in around six weeks! Come moving day, he was there to assist us with sorting out issues we were experiencing as a result of the removal firm making a ‘pigs ear’ on the day - even going as far as guiding the removal guys on what needed to be done, and helped lift heavy items down stairs. Ryan was incredibly helpful, he helped us from start to finish by suggesting solicitors and a mortgage advisor who both turned out to be amazingly helpful also. We would not only recommend but URGE anyone selling in the local area to choose Johnny and Paul to handle their move. We have truly never experienced such a personal service- both Johnny and Paul are so easy to contact directly, communication is fantastic and it’s clear they put 100% of themselves into their business. Buying your first home is famously stressful and after a month of pushy, weird agents at rushed viewings we were feeling disheartened. But from the moment we met Sam and saw our now forever home it was a different story. Both Sam and Ryan are genuine, decent, friendly people. They are straightforward, frank and reasonable and it was an absolute breath of fresh air.
