Letting made simple

Have been letting through KF for a couple of years and the agent, Phillip Dunn, has made things very easy. The flat was let within hours of going live. There were a few teething problems with the place being a new build, and he was largely successful in keeping any stress away from me. Now the flat seems to be working fine with only the usual wear and tear problems and Phillip deals with issues without fuss, keeping me up to date on problems and suggesting fixes which are costed and only require a yes/no answer. Basically, it's letting made simple

Best experience with the property management

Knight Frank overall from my experience is a great agency to partner with for your tenancy. I’ve had a great experience with them from start to finish, but throughout the tenancy, the best person has been Shantel Sikanartey. She’s been an excellent property manager. Shantel has been very kind and supportive throughout, and managed to strike a great professional balance in managing the interests of both tenant and landlord.She’s also been swift to respond, and always ensured any queries or concerned I had were addressed promptly and satisfactorily. This contributed the most to a seamless and enjoyable tenancy experience.

I am very impressed with Knight Frank Bath office and especially with Francesca Leighton-Scott who has shown her resolve to navigate through two difficult years due to lawyers losing the deeds, and yet still find a way through it all to come up trumps at the end. I have trusted in Fran for several years and she has successfully sold 4 properties and/or land for me. Knight Frank delivered an outstanding buyer experience for us. We fell in love with our house at a time that there were many moving parts both personally and within the economy and KF held our hand through the process brilliantly. Excellent service

I have been using Knight Frank as my managing agent since April 2023. Their service has been fantastic.I have had multiple issues with my flat/the tenants, but I am pleased to say that Knight Frank have been invaluable as the managing agent. Hamzah Musaddaq has been in charge and very much on the front foot with every conversation/issue with the tenant. His pro-active approach and forward thinking means I literally have nothing to do apart from agree with his points.The service has been exceptional and I would certainly recommend that anyone considering using this service does. It is absolutely worth it and saves you a considerable amount of time, effort and stress.

Slow and unprofessional

Slow and unprofessional. Knight Frank and Vast Group were unable and unwilling to fix a shower door in the bathroom for many months. Both Knight Frank and Vast Group disappear for months at a time and I have to chase both of them and only my chasing would restart the process, but not for long as they would simply forget me and the problem would remain - the shower door would continue to leak and they wouldn't care. The repairs and administration would fall through the cracks and drag on for months. Knight Frank wouldn't agree to replace Vast Group with another contractor, so I'm stuck with a broken shower door flooding the bathroom for months, with nothing I can do about it because the apartment is managed by Knight Frank.

Left feeling cheated, beyond frustrated, and patronised.

Awful service. Honestly, it sickens me that we had to pay them money. After informing them that the heating wasn't working November 2022, we went the whole winter without any heating (and we chased a lot - especially when it was sub-zero temperatures in December!). The heating was never fixed, and we moved out in June 2023. There was considerable damp in the property as we were unable to regulate the temperature and lived next to a river, which caused excessive mould, rotting window frames, and pressure cracks in the window glass. Despite informing them of this, when we tried to get our deposit back, we were charged for all this damage and were barely able to get a timely response from Knight Frank. It took over ten weeks to just get the schedule of proposed deductions, despite chasing multiple times, and 5 months to get the deposit back. We had to wait at least 2-3 weeks for every response. In the end, we were so exhausted and fed up with dealing with them, we agreed to pay for half the damage. If you want to pay above-market rate in agency fees, wait for weeks for them to acknowledge your emails, and then receive a response that doesn't actually address your concerns and is horribly patronising, then Knight Frank is the right agent for you!

I was looking to let out my apartment in November 23, and with another agent was not having much luck. I enlisted Knight Frank and Jamie Vass became a trusted advisor and found me a tenant in less than a week. I was astounded by his professionalism, guidance and compassion for a new landlord who practically had 0 clue what the whole process looked like. I know also how helpful he was to my tenant who was new to renting as well. He helped build a great working relationship with myself and my tenant which has flourished since everything was completed. I’m not sure how successful this would have all been wi th out him. Thanks Knight Frank for making this process a little easier for a newbie, especially Jamie, this was remarkably easy with you guiding me along the way.

Ok, so where do I start. I’m a property investor and developer of 35 years and consequently property agents play a vital role in my business.Sadly, through bitter experience, I have learnt to view estate agents as pretty useless until they prove otherwise. And I’m happy to say that when I met Tom Wright ten years ago and subsequently his colleague Fiona MacLiam from Knight Frank Shropshire, they have most certainly proved otherwise.During this time, firstly Tom and more recently Fiona have been so incredibly helpful with all my property needs, giving hours and hours of invaluable advice and managing the process to a level above and beyond what I would expect. They have always acted with absolute integrity, professionalism and grace with laser-like focus on the process. I would simply not entertain using anyone else, period.Fiona has been lead on my last two sales and has, I can honestly say, built even further on what Tom started and on what estate agency is, or at least should really be about - being there wholeheartedly before, during and after a sale or purchase and adding significant, tangible value to the process i.e. earning their keep and more.I don’t believe my latest sale would have either materialised in the first place, or made it through to completion without Fiona - this is the absolute, real value of agents in my opinion and without this level of service and expertise, what’s the point of even having an agent - just a rather expensive cost on your completion statement.Fiona (and Tom) are exceptional in the true sense of the word - of the many, many agents I have dealt with over the years, the difference between them and others is night and day. Excellent Tax Services

I have been using Knight Frank's tax service for over 10 years now. I am residing in Hong Kong and had a number of properties in UK which I leased out for rental income. Satisfied for the past six years and impressed be the new property manager
