Five out of five with Slinn. The three and a bit years as a Tenant with them were admirable and Slinn always would be open and engaging when came to either issues or the odd general inspection carried out. And the best agency is one you never have to think about. At the end of my tenure there was clear and very reasonable judgement for wear and tear to the property, and maintaining an engaging persona as my time with them came to a close. I could recommend their administration to anyone.

Excellent Service from this family run estate agents. They helped us rent a lovely 3 bed property in New Duston. From start to finish the team were quick, efficient and customer focused. They took the time to understand what our requirements were and explained clearly to us the process. We viewed the property and was accepted. The office team kept us clearly informed of the timescales and paperwork that was required. The process was mainly completed online with a very efficient system. Any questions we raised were dealt with quickly and they always responded. The website is easy to use and you report any issues on that portal. This allowed you to quickly report things and get a quick response. All our queries were dealt with. We were actually waiting to move house and the exit process was clearly laid out to us. We worked with the team to complete the necessary paperwork and give adequate notice. Once we had left the transfer process of utilities was managed adeptly by them. All round an excellent experience and we do not hesitate to recommend this excellent company. Having rented before and been landlords this company is at the top of their game.

Glasgow street 70 I rented a property through Slinn Residential for over 2.5 years. When I moved in, the house was in poor condition and required improvements, which I later left in much better condition than I found it. I always paid my rent on time and never had arrears, yet when moving out I was met with unfair deductions from my deposit for things that clearly fall under normal wear and tear. The agency tried to charge me for painting and garden maintenance, even though the property was returned in a good state. What is worse, I invested in window blinds from my own money, and now I am being denied their return. In my opinion, this agency does not treat tenants fairly. Be very careful before renting with them, always document everything, take photos, and know your rights. Give me your private questions, I'll let you know about this street and this house! I rented a house through this agency and had a consistently frustrating experience. From the beginning, they failed to show up to inspections, claiming we weren’t home, even though we were literally sitting on the sofa with the curtains open waiting for them. Things got worse when we requested an early release from our tenancy. We were led to believe this had been agreed by the landlord, with no mention that it was conditional on a new tenant being found while we were still living in the property just that they must be found “quickly” We acted in good faith, requested a move-out date, and started packing - only to be informed last minute that the early release wasn’t confirmed after all. This came at a point when our home was already dismantled and we were midway through moving out. To make matters worse, they had the price on the listing particularly high (£300 more than we pay) and didn’t even reduce the listing price until nearly three weeks after we gave notice, which likely delayed interest. Only once the price was lowered did viewings start to pick up. Despite this, we were told we may be responsible for additional rent - which feels entirely unfair given the delays were on their side. What’s been most disappointing is the complete lack of apology or humility throughout the process. A simple acknowledgment of the inconvenience or mishandling would have gone a long way in making the situation less frustrating, but instead, we were met with deflection and indifference. The whole experience has been marked by poor communication, mismanagement, and a lack of professionalism. I wouldn’t recommend this agency to anyone.

Stay away from them. They are managing my Neighbor's property and rented it out to the worst tenant possible without doing their due diligence.
