Googlewe have been a tenant for 1 year with them. they are highly unprofessional and simply disrespect you without reason. you can't speak with them like an adult. they bind you to a fixed term contract and even if landlord is ok to change it they wont do it as they are bunch of manipulative people. they are unavailable on phone. don't attend/answer any phone calls to discuss the exit strategy. luckily my landlord is a sensible and extremely good person who realized their dirty manipulative tricks and returned our full deposit. I myself a landlord in London and i treat my tenants with respect and address their concerns. i wouldn't call them parasites but guess that's what they are. stay away and do yourself a favor avoid them.

GoogleThe most unprofessional state agents. Never in the office never answer a call. Only look after landlord interests. Have links to some unprofessional and dodgy inventory company who at the end of tenancy just want to take all your deposit and including things which are simply not true or things they ignore which were there at the start of tenancy but they blame it on you. However, the dispute went to DPS adjudicator and he simply rejected their claims because they submitted check-in and check-out pics taken before I started my tenancy and I got my full deposit back. So foolish and unprofessional.

Tried to contact all day Monday and Tuesday without any luck. Eventually got a call back so I could put in my formal offer on one of their properties. Am yet to hear anything from them regarding a counter/decline.
Property has now been removed from right move. I'm yet to be contacted with any update. Clearly they aren't to bothered on weather they sell their property's or not

GoogleAlan found our buyer and helped us through a very difficult conveyance process. There was a chain and one of the solicitor's involved was painfully slow in getting things done and needed to be pushed all the way to the exchange of contracts. The sale would not have happened without Alan's perseverance and communication skills. The service offered throughout by Alan & his colleagues Steve & Matthew was outstanding. I recommend Humphriss & Ryde without hesitation. This is a very professional team, fully committed to their clients.

GoogleSteve was proactive, professional and efficient throughout the whole process of our moving home.
I was extremely impressed by how he used his initiative to make and maintain regular contact with solicitors/agents/landlords at all points of the chain to ensure that any unforeseen problems were quickly dealt with.
It was reassuring to have his mostly daily feedback on progress which took the pressure off us and instilled confidence.
Matthew gave invaluable initial advice and it was clear the teamwork between Alan and Steve helped things run smoothly if either was away from the office.
Steve's skills and actions enabled us to complete on both our sale and purchase within 15 weeks - and this was with Christmas in between!
If you are thinking of moving home I would definitely highly recommend Steve.

GoogleWe would like to say what a great service provided by Humphriss & Ryde during the purchase of our property. Steve in the Chislehurst office was exceptionally great at communicating with us and keeping us informed of the ongoing purchase and any issues that were arising including timeframes for getting things moving and sorted. It's often said that the estate agents work on behalf of the seller and not the buyer, however though this may have been the case, we did not feel at a disadvantage during the process at all, thanks to Steve's willingness to communicate and be invested in seeing the purchase and sale go through.
We are really happy with our new home and have Humprhiss and Ryde to thank for this, professional from the beginning to the end.

From 29 Mill Place BR7 5ND. Mould in bedrooms, faulty wiring, leaking roof, tiles falling off the kitcehen walls, taps not working, ineter and exterior damage from leaks, cracks in walls, bathroom floor has big chuncks missing and water damgage, back garden decking rotted through and dangerous, awful communication. No working land line. Exposed wiring, dangerous stairs with stair tops falling off. All reported multiple times over the last 4 or more years. Never fixed. And when something is done it is a complete joke. One even turned up and cut the plug off one of my house hold appliances because they couldnt be bothered to get their tools from their car! Avoid this estate agents!!!!They accepted my holding deposit for a property, I completed the application and passed all the referencing, on the day the contract was due to be signed I got a call from the agents telling me the landlord had pulled out!!! I was given no explanation and me and my children have been left homeless just before Christmas. I was offered no alternative no help at all and all of my emails have been ignored. Do not use this estate agents!!!!!! They have no care for their customers at all!!!

YellBrilliant house sale from start to finish
Brilliant sale - sold our house for the right price - no hitches. Great level of service throughout, very honest, focussed, sensible. We tried other agents before Humphriss & Ryde (H&R) but did not get a sale and felt we wasted a lot of time and effort. We were so glad we chose H&R and will go to them first , when we move again. H&R only sent us committed buyers for viewings, made a sustained effort to sell our family house in Bromley/Elmstead area . H&R delivered an informed, regular, honest, personal service to us and our buyers throughout. H&R helped hold our chain held together very well, and we were 12 weeks offer to completion. Thoroughly recommend this agent.

After requesting a viewing for a property the agents failed to get back to me about availability for viewing over a two week period even though requested details were given. This was only arranged after a phone call to the agents. After viewing the property and speaking with the agent again I asked a couple of questions and was waiting for a response and had also emailed them separate to this with another query. I never had any contact back and the property now has a let agreed. Very, very disappointed with the lack of communication which lead to us not having the opportunity to let this property.
