GoogleWould give zero stars if I could. The way Jane treated my daughter is unbelievable. Avoid like the plague. Rude, rude and just rude. The women is so stuck up. Some of the voice messages I've heard Jane leave, I wish I could upload them. Stay clear people. Gave my daughter and a 6 month old baby, 2 months notice to move out and lied about the property being put up for sale. Strange it's back up for rent. Unnecessary stress caused.
I CAN NOT REPLY BUT I CAN LEAVE MY REVIEW AND MY OPINION. YES I WILL CALL YOU, ABSOLUTELY! The polite emails aren't the problem (polite paper trail). It's the way you spoke to her and the voice message you left. I'm happy to discuss that and you can listen to them. I can leave my review/opinion on here. That is kind of the whole point.

We were instructed by the elderly landlord who is in poor health, of this one bedroom flat to give your daughter & her partner notice. The landlord has been forced to put some of his properties up for sale to assist with his living support/care costs. This flat was up for sale and then the landlord sold another property two weeks before your daughter vacated. We were informed of this after the checkout by the landlords POA & had we have received this information sooner would have advised your daughter. I was not rude to your daughter and have emails to show that I was very sorry for the situation.
I also tried my best to find an alternative two bedroom property for them. This is such an awful personal attack! It is absolutely shocking that you think it is okay to write this review. If you or your daughter had any issue with me why did you not say so at the time? I very much look forward to receiving your call the office number is: 01243 572984.

GoogleI recently found myself in a position of being a single parent, after 12 years, and in new territory having to find somewhere to rent. Jane couldn't have been kinder to me and has been amazing throughout the whole process and I don't doubt going forward this will remain the case. After almost losing hope as other letting agents wouldn't even call me back after hearing I am a single parent, Jane called me back and fitted me in for a viewing the same day. I have just moved in to the property and it's simply beautiful, and it shines through how extremely well managed it has been in the past. Hannah was also very accommodating in arranging a second viewing and fitting me in. I can't thank you all enough, you've made a difficult, stressful situation so much easier for me and my children and I'm looking forward to making lots of happy memories in my new home. GoogleI really recommend Jane and Kevin Prior for what they do. Most trustworthy, efficient and helpful. I have rented out my flat on 3 occasions over 5 years and they have totally managed the process for me from advertising and interviewing prospective tenants to hand holding one or two youngsters who had never heard of Council Tax or cleaning! They are definitely better than any estate estate agent as you get to speak to someone who cares about their own business.

GoogleEight years ago Priors Residential Lettings was recommended to me by a respected Emsworth estate agent. As I live overseas, it was essential that I had a responsible, reliable and caring management company looking after my house with minimum involvement myself.
Priors have surpassed my expectations in every way showing care, concern and ability to successfully manage the interests of tenant and landlord alike.
To date, the house has been occupied by four different couples.There were no problems with the first three tenancies, all ended amicably. When the fourth couple vacated they failed to replace and repair certain items that had been damaged by them during their occupancy . These had been brought to their attention following an earlier routine inspection. This matter was dealt with professionally by Priors and the tenant eventually paid for the damage.
My only concern is, if Priors were no longer around, where else could I go for such service and where I can be in immediate contact with the guys running the company? I would probably discontinue letting letting rather than risk a stressful relationship with a company that would treat me with indifference for which I would almost certainly be paying a lot more than what I am being charged by Priors.

GoogleShort story - landlords, avoid like the plague.
I had an extremely awful experience with Priors, upon reading the other real review on here we share similar stories, ones of deceit and rudeness.
Bias opinions aside, the contract we were made to sign was faulty, as per government restrictions any lettings agent should not put in a contract that the tenant HAS to pay for private cleaning, we were told to use the priors residential contractors, which we are confident Priors take money on top of, as we got one of them to quote us and then a week later Priors sent us an invoice with a higher amount than we were quoted, when we questioned it we had no response, no apology, just a new invoice. That is the theme with Priors, Jane and Kevin are incredibly unresponsive and just plain rude. Jane went onto my personal facebook page whilst I was self isolating (we delayed the cleaners coming in because I didnt want to risk anyone catching anything) and I had a picture of me out on a walk, to which Jane commented under saying she thought I was isolating?
We were only in the property for 6 months and when we left, having cleaned the entire house, hoovered etc we were told we MUST have a cleaner, oven cleaner and carpet cleaner. We agreed to the oven cleaner but said we would do the carpets and cleaning ourselves. When we left we were told that the cleaning and carpets weren't up to scratch, the carpets I fail to see how in 6 months with no stains or marks they could justify. But with Priors being in control of the third party contractors this is probably just a way to make a bit extra cash.. forcing the tenants to pay EVERY time for all 3 contractors, which so happen to be Priors... coincidental.
The points go on, I am a landlord myself for another property and I would not want Jane or Kevin to come anywhere near the tenants that I had in there. Even when we did have issues, a shed was promised to us when we moved in, bathroom cabinet, extractor fan for shower.. it took months for the shed and cabinet to be put in and in our 6 months we never had the extractor fan. There was 1 time also where they let a contractor into the house without telling us.. we were at work and came home to doors opened that we had closed, it was only when I noticed new bathroom shower hooks that I assumed that they had let themselves in, very worrying.
I am sure they will comment below this with some 1 sided story about how it was all our fault. Just be very wary, even if these guys are the cheapest around I would STRONGLY advise looking for an alternative.

GoogleFrom the view of a tennant Priors were very poor.
At first they were very polite and friendly, the second that contract is signed they are generally not very good at communication and if there is an opportunity for them to take your money they will.
The alarm bell should have rang when into a week into our tenancy the prious tennant called round to see if any post had been dropped in before they re-directed it. they were very friendly and asked us how were the new carpets. Now we didnt have new carpets, the previous stained carpets were still in place and we were told they would change after our tenancy. They probably are still there now I'd imagine.
So when we get to the end of our tenancy, we are charged £120 for the lawns to be trimmed (I had mowed the lawns a week prior to this). Then after we had cleaned the Carpets ourselves with a rug doctor that we paid for. They had to be 'professionally cleaned' so charged further. Among other costs that priors basically set out to claim as much of our deposit as they possile could.
I would not reccommend priors to a tennant. stay away.

Dear Jonathon, Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, you know that this is totally incorrect as you were offered new carpet when you moved in, but advised you did not want the disruption of having it fitted. When you vacated, the garden was not in good order as the checkout clearly showed inclusive of photos. We paid the gardener for his work, so how would we have made any money from charging for any work carried out at the property? You have omitted to mention the damage to two rooms, whereby you had left big holes in the walls in the expensive wallpaper that could not be replaced. Also, you have neglected not to mention the fact that your brother had post delivered to the address, who was not named on the tenancy. We would welcome a call to discuss this review, as we have been trying to contact you by phone and emails with regard to the pile of post that we have here in our office.

They are easy to contact and keep us well informed about routine inspections, costs and any other information we need to know well in advance. If we experience any issues, all we need to do is call and the issues are resolved quickly and professionally. The staff have been friendly, loyal and understanding throughout our tenancy and we will most likely use them again if we move. I would highly recommend Priors Residential Lettings to anyone who wants peace of mind when renting property.

Priors have always been very professional, promptly arranging any maintenance or repairs when required and any work has always been of a very high standard. When tenancies are due to end, they are very quick in working on finding new tenants, our current tenant gave notice 2 weeks ago and Priors have already found a replacement long-term tenant for us.
