She took time to fully understand the property and develop a targeted strategy that delivered a quick solution. Crucially she thought creatively about the right way to sell the property rather than just put it on rightmove and let it “sell itself “ (as some agencies seem to do). We have no hesitation in recommending her.

I have been searching for a new home in Chester and probably viewed property with most of the agents. Some were very inefficient. However Kate at Legat Owen was by far the most professional. My calls were always returned promptly and viewing appointments made to fit with my timetable. Kate was knowledgeable and if she couldn’t answer my questions came back to me with information in a timely manner. She was always polite and pleasant - my perfect agent!

We have worked with the Property and Asset Management Team since 2018 and found them to be highly professional and organized in managing multiple office properties on our behalf in the North West, specifically Mark Hopley and more recently Alice Downie, supported by Diane. They keep abreast of the current legislation and take the worry out of commercial property management. We have also experienced excellent support from their accounts staff, agency department and the building surveying team, across both the office and industrial "shed" markets. The diversity of the skill set throughout the various departments at Legat Owen means that any issues that do occasionally arise are dealt with as quickly as possible, with a combination of "can do " attitude, years of experience and a dose of good humour. I would certainly recommend them.

Tried multiple times to let a property. They either promise to call back or just ignore calls. Extremely unprofessional. I would highly advise using another company. Rupert was 15 minutes late for a viewing. He didn't even have the keys for the property so couldn't see inside. Promised me they had other more suitable units available then just blank my calls.

Where to start, another incompetent letting agent... I've been back and forward for a couple of months with multiple individuals over properties with no success. First there was Rupert who "forgot" to show up for a viewing leaving me waiting for around an hour before he showed up with no apology admitting he forgot. If you ask him any basic questions regarding the property such as rates for example he won't have a clue and just says he'll have to check and get back to you (know your product ITS YOUR JOB). Then we have Mark, everything seems to go through mark which is a problem when he forgets to call you back/ email or just keep a basic line of communication going with you in the final stages of a tenancy. Lastly I will say Sebastian from the very start was absolutely fantastic, turned up on time, took the time to print off brochures for each property we viewed with all the details you could possibly want. nothing was too much trouble for him, he did his homework on each property and could answer almost all questions confidently with a definitive answer, I genuinely couldn't praise him high enough and genuinely believe he should be the bench mark Legat Owen should set their standards by when taking on and retraining their agents. Unfortunately his hands were tied by the other two and we failed to secure a premises within my deadline. Fortunately I was able to secure a premises within my deadline after giving up all hope these agents would actually pull their finger out.

Tried to deal with this company over a new expansion to our business, was forced to jump through some questionable hoops but to no end, I felt that this band of hero’s discriminatory against certain business types and has interests in property they rent out, if effect the managing team decide based leasing decisions and give answers based on who you are, also pompous in the negotiation procedure with unrealistic rents, they would sooner a property stay empty than consider renting out. Not forgetting the flash Mercedes rep with little or no respect for potential clients, overall experience we felt treated like second best despite our enthusiastic nature.

Booked an appointment to go see a unit we were keen about, 2 other people also took time off work. We arrived onsite to no one to show from legat Owens, and then the landlady arrived to ask us what we were doing as the unit has been rented out for the last 3 months. So thank you legat Owens for completely wasting our time and letting us book time off work for a unit which isn’t for rent.

I have contacted Legat Owen multiple times over the past 12 months over multiple warehouses but have only managed to get as far as "We will get Rupert to call you back when he is in the office" which never happens. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with for communication. If you see a property for rent via them don't waste your time.

Everytime we contacted Legat Owen either the person we were dealing with was either on a day off or on holidays.
