Very responsive on-site team

All in all, I'm very happy with my Victoria Mills home. A fair few snags were identified shortly after moving in in August 2023 but these have largely been addressed, and done so quickly. My customer journey has been up and down (the only reason for not giving 5 stars) but I will say that Isaac and Andy on site have been very responsive and helpful when I've needed them, and very friendly.

Great experience with Anwyl Homes The Fairways

Our experience purchasing a new home on The Fairways estate in Handforth with Anywl Homes has been excellent. The sales team (Helen, Sarah, Lauren) did a great job walking us through the whole buying process, clearly explaining all the options and diagrams and patiently helped with all our questions. The finished build was precisely as we specified it, everything in place and completed to an extremely high quality. We commissioned a professional snagging report and it showed up very few issues indeed, which we went through with Gaz and Joe. After that Joe provided a superb service helping resolve the main issues of concern and going out of his way to work around our availability. With everything now completed and having been in the home for around 3 months, we couldn't be happier with our choice and the service from Anwyl Homes. Thank you all!

Happy Crossfields residents

I can't recommend this company enough. We bought our house late in the build stage so there wasn't alot of time to get organised, but the team at Anwyl ensured the process ran very smoothly. Debbie (sales) was very helpful, kept in contact with us throughout and even went as far as rummaging through old boxes for us to help identify a wallpaper! Ian and Pete on site are always on hand and often check in to make sure everything is working well. Any problems that did arise, mostly minor, we're rectified as soon as practically possible. Altogether we are very happy with our new home.

Anwyl Homes Winnington Place

We recently moved into our new home at Winnington Place, Northwich. We paid our deposit in January and were kept fully informed by the on site sales team during the build. Detailed plans were shared with us and good advice was offered all the way through as we selected our options and upgrades.Moving in was straightforward. Being shown around the house prior to "handover" gave us confidence in our investment. The site managers and their technicians are friendly, helpful and quick to respond to snagging issues. Nothing major and dealt with promptly and effectively. This is our fourth new build home , over the years, and Anwyl Homes has been, by far, the best experience. The Winnington Place team are excellent.

Disgraceful customer care

During this year my garden had flooded on almost every occasion it has rained. This started when Anwyl started work on adjacent land, despite promises and reassurances through the last 10 months they now say it will sort it self with landscaping and if it is still bad in 12 months let them know!This on top all the other stupid things that their contractors have done is the last straw. Is this fair? Is this the action of a decent business? Sell you a house make promises then turn their back. Absolute bunch of cowards who make you write to them then can email you. Disgraceful would never recommend them.

The whole experience of purchasing our Anwyl property has been smooth & trouble-free. From our first meeting with Debbie in the sales office, the site visits with Ian during the build and the post-completion interaction with Debbie, Ian, Pete and the trades on site, nothing has been too much trouble to ensure we were happy with the choices we made and satisfied with the house both before and after we moved in. The quality of the build is top-notch with no snagging issues of any note. A very nice home thanks to the level of attention to detail from Ian, Pete and the site team. Very happy to recommend Anwyl Homes to anyone looking to purchase a new home.

Anwyl - The Oaks - we love our new home

Our experience with Anwyl was truly great. We had a lovely sales person at the Oaks sales center - Carol who made the whole process hassle free. We were updated regularly on the house progress and the completion date was early. When it was move in day, Linda (another amazing Anwyl staff) showed us the house and gave us all the info we needed. After we have moved in Ian (the site manager) answered all of our questions and made sure our requests were actioned and completed as soon as possible. The whole team was/is great including the builders who always wave at my litlle one in their big diggers. Thank you Anwyl team, we love our new home.Ana M.

If I could rate 0 stars I would

Review of Winnington Place. If I could rate 0 stars I would. The sales pitch was great and we were so happy to move into our first home and that’s where it went downhill. We were handed over the keys to a dirty house that hadn’t been cleaned and plasterwork that looks like a 5 year old did it. A driveway that wasn’t done and a garden that’s sloped and floods. We had a snag report done that highlighted hundreds of defects and many items have been ignored and not completed. Initially the assistant site manager was useless but we got passed onto someone else who was helpful at first and we had hope that our house would be sorted. But 3 weeks in we were told they can’t spend anymore time on our house despite it not being finished and passed us to customer care. 7 months down the line we are still waiting for snags to be rectified. We thought being passed to customer care would be helpful as the clue is in the name, ‘care’ however this is not the case. Customer care is useless, they won’t do some of the snags and any they will rectify is months wait to get done.When they do come, they get paint and plaster all over our brand new floors and carpets. Our brand new bedroom cupboard has been destroyed by tradesmen and our belongings are covered in paint. The carpet was professionally cleaned by them after the mess left behind but we still have paint on our brand new laminate floors. On top of this we have floors that aren’t level in most rooms but apparently it would be too expensive for anwyl to fix so we just have to deal with it! They walk into your property without permission or turn up unannounced and just expect you to be home. Beyond a joke. Thoughtful homes they are not. What should have been an exciting time has been stressful and upsetting. The constant emails, chasing etc. it’s draining. They hope people will give in and just leave it but I will not be leaving my dream home in the state they have left it. If you want rubbish plasterwork, missing hinges, uneven floors, holes around your plugs, missing paint work, velux windows that look a state, missing grout and more, then anwyl is perfect. If not then don’t bother.

The Oaks at Rossbank

As everyone else we were really anxious about new builds we didn't know what to expect as there are many different stories with new builds in UK , from the first day till we moved in the process was straightforward and easy , few months of delay but that was expected so nothing wrong with that. We hired a snagging company and at the end the guy told us that the house is in top 5 % of what he is inspected with few minor snags which in few days were sorted , we are 6 months in our house and we love it . I can't speak for other sites but at The Oaks we are lucky to have the best site manager around Ian Palmer , he and his crew always ready whenever you need help 🙏 even if he is not supposed to do it he will find a way to help you , thanks for your help Ian I will see you around and you are always welcome to pop in for a coffee ☕.

Fantastic and friendly service from Lauren, Gillian and Isaac at Anwyl Homes, Victoria Mills - Holmes Chapel. The whole buying process felt relatively easy and stress free. We love our house and the area. They've solved most issues quickly and extended our snag period substantially (as my partner and I had a baby during the process) which allowed us time to settle into new routines without having to worry about work being done. We're now looking forward to our first Christmas as parents in our new home.Thank you!
