We've just bought a property through Gascoigne Halman and they have been super helpful and communicative throughout the whole process. Tracy Ryan in the Frodsham office has been lovely and always responded to our queries (however bizarre! We have asked a lot of questions haha!) promptly and happily! We never felt like we were too much trouble. Thanks to everyone at Frodsham Gascoigne Halman!

We recently sold and bought a house using the Frodsham office. We met with 3 local estate agents before deciding who to use and we chose Gascgoine Halman Frodsham as they had the most local knowledge and were the easiest branch to get in touch with.As is often the case, the whole house move process was quite lengthy and frustrating. But Tracy in particular helped us out with advice, chasing up solicitors and helping to keep on top of the process. I don’t plan on moving again anytime soon, but if I did I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again.

FacebookAfter leaving my rented property in May, i still have not received my deposit back. It took me over 2 days to clean the place before moving in, and i made sure the place was better than i found it when leaving. Yet the landlady refused to sign off my deposit and i got Zero help from Gascoigne... the land lady walk in on the flat without notice, once whilst i was stuck down with covid, and you wasn't allowed to visit people. Now i am left to chase MY money back. Avoid these guys, they do not help when help is required.

Excellent process with Gascoignes, from initial meet with Markus, market appraisal right down to the wire.Market knowledge and valuation was spot on. Photography clear, perfect contrast and house write up excellent and accurate. Brilliantly managed by Lucy Kershaw throughout with very timely comms and updates. We felt she managed potential buyers very well and helped maintain the integrity of the chain as it developed. Viewings all managed professionally and consistently too. Viewing requests started coming in within an hour or so of being released online. Offers started a few days after viewings and final offer just over a week later. Just excellent team all round! Thank you all.

Extremely poor customer service. No communication and appear to also be quite judgmental towards single parents. I am still waiting for them to call me back but regardless of weather they do or not, i definitely won’t be letting a property through them.

GoogleI can't recommend GH Tarporley highly enough. During the initial phase of seeking the house, they gave good advice and were happy to answer our questions, however it was after a sale was agreed where they went above and beyond. We had some issues post the agreement of a price as further down the chain was struggling to provide an update our estimate of time to complete. Oliver did a brilliant job in contacting people and trying to get the sale over the line. Without his help the process would have been a lot more stressful than it already was. Thanks a lot for all of your help, we will recommend you to everyone! Matt

Told the woman named Susan that I would be a student working in my holidays off uni whilst getting a mortgage. Been lead on to sign a lifetime fee of 600 pound to use there advice for the next 6 month for unlimited advice. Now being told she didn't know I was a student when I have clear evidence on my side I told her. Lawsuit imenent. This firm will lie to get money Out of you. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, GO EPSEWHERE.

I would be very wary of letting these guys manage the rental of anything! Purchased a property via gascoigne and Halman, that has previously been tenanted (managed by gascoigne and halman), and it’s been a horrible experience. When we viewed the property it was filthy, so offered full asking on the agreement it be professionally cleaned. When we moved in, not only was it still dirty but we quickly discovered it had a serious flea infestation! When I flagged the flea issue to the chapel offIce they were helpful and did try to arrange pest control, but it was ineffective and 8 weeks on we still Have issues- the pest control guy thought the issue must have been untreated for many many months as the infestation was so bad! I don’t know what kind of checks they do on tenants, or how regularly they inspect their properties, but allowing a lovely new house to become absolutely infested under their management absolutely amazes me. Be very wary if you are considering them as rental agents.

GoogleI recently acquired a property being marketed by GH Tarporley. From Viewing the property to completion, which was only a matter of weeks, they were attentive and responsive an professionally and efficiently dealt with matters as they arose. I may go as far to say that through their approach I perhaps paid a little more than I initially was prepared. However I wont regret it I'm sure.

Used Gascoigne Halman Lettings to manage my property - biggest mistake. Took commission every month but did nothing to earn it. Ignored my emails when I reported concerns following an inspection visit report and allowed tenant to damage property which resulted in problems trying to claim money from deposit and eventually left me considerably out of pocket. Didn't know where one set of keys were when I went to collect them! Didn't have the grace to admit their mistakes and apologize. Would certainly NOT recommend!!

I have used seven or eight estate agents in the area and I have to commend Peter Gregg and Amanda Titterton at the Chapel-en-le-Frith office as the best in the region. Pete and Amanda dealt with my sale with efficiency, politeness, discretion and friendliness in the face of some considerable difficulties. I cannot recommend them more highly.

Wished to make a cash offer on a property, was told viewings were fully booked and was not even offered to have a video viewing of it. If I were the seller I'd be appalled that potential buyers and potential achievement of a higher price were sent away.
