Landlord's perspective - terrible

From a landlord perspective, absolutely terrible. They picked contractors to do work which went wrong (plumbing leaks damaging my property). I replaced a shower and then a year later they told me it needed replacing again (no pushback to the contractor on my behalf). After a tenancy they started showing people round and only weeks later and having been advised to lower the rent did I discover the property had been left in a terrible state (they should have advised my after the first viewing). They also advised a tenant to change the locks (without informing me!) so at the end of the tenancy when I returned arriving late I couldn't enter and had to sleep in the car.

After a very bad experience with another estate agent, Nick just took it personally to help us realise our dreams, what we did not think was possible anymore. Nick was brilliant - he was always communicative and clear with what was happening, our chances of securing the property and the next steps. Most of all, I felt he was an ally for us in getting the house we wanted, and was willing to go the extra mile and make it personal, so that we could make it over the finish line. And it all worked out! Chancellors also clearly have a big team behind them working to make things happen, and that also really made a difference in the efficiency and ability to 'seal the deal'. I guess a smaller agency might not be able to provide this back-up. So a big thanks to Nick and the Chancellors team.
