Didn't keep offers private. Tried to go back and forth between potential buyers to increase bids. Told other buyers I had offered asking price in a bid to increase sales price. I didn't think practices like this still existed. Disappointed to learn that they believe gazumping is fair.

Poor service, bidding against the wall is the norm .Beware they charge estate agent fees from the buyer and not the seller!Post sale service is poor with no response to calls, emails or texts.Consider other Auction houses which I have used with much superior service and not as costly.

GoogleIf you are looking to sell or buy property in the Banbury area, look no further than the Banbury office of Savills. An exceptional service awaits. They recently sold a property for us at Wroxton. From the point of arranging a valuation, through to completion of the sale, the whole team provided an approachable and professional service that was second to none. Nick, with his considerable knowledge of the local market, in his assessment and valuation, generating early interest and a rapid footfall of viewers. Lily, who skilfully and enthusiastically handled the viewings, that resulted in an early sale. Catherine, who was our main point of contact throughout the negotiation and selling process, who provided an exceptional level of customer service at every stage, both to ourselves and to the ingoing buyers. Sophie, who supported Catherine in her role and always offered the very best in customer service, as did Hannah, who was always helpful and responsive to our needs. I really cannot praise this team of people enough. They know and do their job, collectively and individually, with professionalism and enthusiasm - they deliver as a team. We’ve bought and sold many properties in the area over the years and Savills Banbury office are top of the tree in my book.

They told me the seller would consider offers within my budget, but then once I’d been to view it and showed interest they said the seller wanted more than my budget. Complete waste of a 3 hour round-trip during a pandemic with no explanation or apology.

And also, great in solving our problems with outside stakeholders like the utilities firm. We are very happy with his service and support.
