Horrified to see Beresfords are doing the governments bidding in this immigration hostile environment by offering to undertake immigration status checks on behalf of their landlords. A disgraceful, shameless company. Smacks of 1930s Germany. I received a leaflet from them today through the post. Is this the kind of company you want to do business with?
I have just been alerted to the review you posted on Trustpilot back in February as this is not a site we currently subscribe to. I felt it appropriate to respond to your comments as it's actually a legal requirement that letting agents who manages a property on a landlords behalf undertake right to rent checks on any tenants arriving from overseas. If a landlord does not use an agent then they will have to undertake this task themselves. Anyone not following the process will be breaking the law and can be prosecuted. Naturally as a professional agent we follow all appropriate guidelines. Do not buy/sell your property through this company. The person we dealt with was so disinterested in doing any work for us. We had to keep chasing to get answers to queries we had. He did not even let us know that our buyer had pulled out at the last minute.

Having rented for 4 years and wishing to downsize when a smaller property to let is available, I seem to get we will contact you for a little Viewing time , to nothing and then sorry we have too many showings and you are unsuccessful in viewing the property ! What the hell is going on with this letting agency !!!! Why not just say that we have too many in the first place ! Time wasters and will look elsewhere in rentals !
