GoogleMark and Tom were really proactive and helped us drive our house purchase through earlier this year. My solicitor was awful and the efforts of Mark and Tom ensured that we completed on time. Mark has also been quick to assist with queries that we have had following completion, for example with minor snagging issues. I have noticed some negative reviews on Google, but these seem to be issues with the developer rather than Specialist Property Solutions - ignore these reviews.

He always answered my calls and quickly responded to emails, and accommodated to any requests we had for the property. GoogleMade an appointment to view a property to let. All confirmed on the phone but no follow-up emails. Turned up on the day and nobody there. Called and they had no idea. After keeping me waiting for 20 minutes, they called back and clarified that the owner hadn't decided if he wanted to rent it out or not. Basically wasted half my afternoon being given the runaround.

GoogleBetween these guys and house crowd we had a nightmare trying to buy a property. Vague, inaccurate "updates" (e.g. "the kitchen will be installed next week. Oh sorry, no, it's not been done... it will be done the week after" and so on), false promises (literally every month the property was going to be finished "next month"). No communication at all if we didn't pretty much hound them, which is not something I normally do. When we pulled out we had to chase the refundable deposit several times. SPS didn't have control over the development of the property not being managed well, but they did have control over how much they updated people. Terrible customer service.

Apologies you feel this way about the service you received, I know my team would be hugely disappointed to see a 1 star review and I must defend your claim about our customer service which is an exceptionally high standard, and is so due to the calibre, experience and talent of the team.
I am happy to discuss with you at your convenience either on the phone or in person the difficulties the team had with communicating the challenges the developer suffered in a post-Brexit and COVID construction environment.
Thankfully for our business and the developer, this very difficult period is coming to an end as weekly buyers are moving into their new homes now most of the challenges have been overcome. As we discussed Patrick the administration was not linked to the development company. Delays were more due to Covid and issues which were caused by isolations and lack of materials which were not expected. Really hope you are successful with your new search.
