We've just completed on our house purchase and we couldn't have been more fortunate to have Matt. He was knowledgeable and informative during the first visit and was more than happy to pass all questions to the seller and ensure we had an answer to each of them. We were first time buyers so we really appreciated Matt talking us through the steps and milestones of the process and checking in on us throughout. I have just completed the sale of my property on 17/7/26 and having little knowledge of selling a house Matt was there to advise every step of the way. He was always on hand to answer my questions even out of office hours,keep me updated and push the sale along at times if necessary. Finally got round to submitting this review, now the unpacking is finished. In theory I should be writing a review for our estate agent and not the estate agent that we purchased from! However, we would have been lost and highly stressed if it had not be for Matt at Ewemove, he kept us up to date with everything more that our own estate agent, he did most of the chasing down the chain etc. His professionalism and friendly nature (with no BS) puts him way above any agent we have used in the past. We moved to Cheadle Hulme in August 2022. Matt and Andrea were instrumental in this move carrying out many negotiations with the seller and going above and beyond to ensure the sale went through. They are personable and friendly and unlike many estate agents I’ve dealt with, you genuinely feel like you are valued and listened to and that they are working on your behalf. Matt is always at the end of the phone, I never struggled to get in touch with him, nothing was too much trouble and he supported us with every aspect of our sale, he even gave us advice on our purchase which was hugely helpful. When it came to selling our property, we had no idea who to go with but saw the great reviews for Ewe Move in Cheadle Hulme, so decided to invite them round for a valuation. Right from the start Matt was head and shoulders above the rest with a professional and reassuring manner. He even bought us a booklet with really useful tips on how to present your house to potential buyers. Throughout the sale, Matt kept in touch with regular updates from interested parties and with fresh ideas on how to market the property. We did have one sale that fell through and Matt remained focused and helped us keep calm and positive throughout this stressful time. I liked how we communicated by text message to arrange the viewing. It was refreshing how Matt responds to my messages outside the 9-5pm window most estate agents operate in which works better for us as we work shifts. We arrived at the house, Matt greeted us & I noticed he’d covered his shoes & offered us covers which I thought was really thoughtful of him. He’d arranged for the owners to go out for the day while he showed potential buyers around and explained there was no rush to view as he had set aside enough time for us to see everything and ask any questions. This was definitely our best Estate Agent experience in the months we’ve been viewing houses.
