We hired Clive at Rendell's (Newton Abbot) to do a valuation on a property for us and we were extremely disappointed with the service provided. The valuation significantly undervalued my property both in its current condition and after the proposed refurbishment, yet when I asked for the evidence and methodology behind the figures, I was repeatedly told there were 'no comparable evidence' and he refused to explain how he got the figure, most likely because he plucked one out of thin air.

GoogleWe had a complicated sale for a property inherited on Dartmoor where neither of us lived close to the property. Due to the complexity there was often a need for Rendell's to be on-site to let consultants in to assess various items. They were excellent in assisting with all of this and for facilitating smooth lines of communication between the buyers, sellers (us) and solicitors. Their hard work around the scenes, and in all aspects, means we would firmly recommend them as estate agents.
