GoogleI would give to Castles in Eaton Bray zero stars if this was possible! Stay away especially if you want to get your deposit back! In particular stay away from 2 individuals: Jake Houchen and Lumina Antoine. They encourage landlords to make deductions from the deposit! They even blamed me and my wife of causing the mould in the bedroom when it was not our fault!! The property where we lived was very damp! The way they treated me and my wife absolutely disgusted me!

GoogleIt was my first time buying a house and Claire personally helped me along the way and answered all the questions I had about the property purchase. She personally chased up solicitors and made the process a lot less stressful than I was expecting. Ended up going from putting an offer in to moving in within a few months. Would 100% go back to Giblin if I was ever looking to sell the house in the future.PositiveProfessionalism

FacebookCastles : the best estate agents there are in Hemel Hempstead (if not Hertfordshire) bar none. Simon pulled out all the stops to find us the house that fitted our wish list - just when we started to think that such a house didn't exist! Sam worked tirelessly throughout the sale and purchase process to ensure that everything happened - and this was no easy feat. Simon, Sam and all the Castles team are committed, customer focussed, caring, always return telephone calls, genuine, honest and go the extra mile as standard. We cannot recommend them highly enough. If I were to move again, I would not even consider using another estate agent. Thanks to all at Castles for their considerable help.

GoogleWe were renting from this company and they were all nice to mine and my partner when we moved in, HOWEVER, when it came to moving out, they were finding any little thing to keep our whole deposit and not giving us a choice to get our own PROFESSIONAL companies in to clean / decorate, they are not happy with anyone else apart from a supposed lady who we can not find a website for and who we have no yet seen certificates or qualification from. They have not reply with relevant information to what we have asked. We are not happy and WE will NOT be using this Agency again if we rent or when we when buy a house.NegativeQuality

Dear Hayley, as discussed in the many emails between us, having been given permission by your landlord to keep a dog at the property it did come with conditions to ensure that the property was returned to us in a condition that meant it was ready for the new tenants. Having not followed our end of tenancy guide to handing back the property within the relevant timescales you were given a quote for a professional end of tenancy clean to be carried out by a local company who specialise in this type of service. You were free to use whoever you wished as was advised. Your deposit was returned to you minus the cost to bring the property back to an acceptable standard. Good luck in the search for a new home. The team were then very hands on through out the process to exchange and completion and helping drive things forward. Would recommend the team to anyone buying and /or selling.

GoogleI am very impressed with the way in which both Lumina and Chloe look after and keep us informed about our property. Lumina has very recently sent us a very thorough inspection report which included photos and areas which needed some attention. Within 24 hours of receiving this she was promptly on the case sorting out who was going to be carrying out the work. Chloe too has always been so helpful if we have a question regarding our tenancy and provides excellent communication. A very pleasant and professional team to work with.

An agency that seems quite behind London's diverse and international market, unable to even contemplate an expat as a potential client, to my utter shock. As a Relocation Agent I help families who are being trasferred into London regularly, and with no issues from the vast majority of estate agents. It is a shame to come across a company so inflexible and conservative.
