1st class service. Mark sold my property which stretched over 12mths. I would get an update after every viewing and after it went sale agreed I would get a call every Friday with an update. Sometimes he was pushing the sale harder than I was, with direct communication with my Solicitor. He also assisted with getting maps/surveys from engineers. Mark went above and beyond his contractural requirements. This removed a lot of the work/stress from me during the process. Highly recommend Terry Hyland Estate Agents and wish them well with their expanding business.

I would highly recommend Mark, he made the whole process very easy. He gave great advice on preparing the property for selling, kept me up to date at all times with information regarding viewings, bids and sale of property and his rates were very competitive. Thanks Mark

I was impressed with the valuation advice I received based on sound knowledge of the local property market and a realistic evaluation of our home Having placed our property with Terry Hyland and dealing primarily with the excellent Val Mcaul, an offer was made before the house went on the open market. Inevitably, as is the usual experience of buying and selling property , annoying problems arose which because we had chosen an experienced local agent the solutions were quickly obtained. Following the successful sale ,I can honestly say l would not hesitate to recommend this estate agent and would particularly like to thank Val for his efforts in achieving it. Pete and Julie Lakey

Estate agents were very helpful with the purchase of the property. As for a first time buyer Guys were very accommodative and provided all needed advice all the way till the purchase ended. Even after hours they answered the phone calls to solve issues or to provide advice. We are really happy with the purchase and the service they offered us. I purchased a property and asked them to send contract to my solicitors and we would sign and return with deposit. I made an offer and it was accepted in writing. I asked who the solicitors for vendor was but never got an answer. Today I was told it had been sold to someone else. They cannot surely expect one to send money to an auctioneer without seeing any purchase contract or any details of the title. To me it is very sharp practice and highly unprofessional as I have bought much property and never had this before. Why would they be afraid to say who their solicitors were? If they do still refuse I will sue them in the high court and a €50,000 costs bill might make them a little more professional next time. Michael Grimes

Michael this is not the place to discuss. You made an offer even though we found it highly unusual that you never viewed the property once and then did not respond to any phone calls or emails for weeks after. The property is not sale agreed until the sales advice notices are sent to each solicitor. These are sent after booking deposit, proof of funding and the names and address to go on the contract are received. We emailed you twice for this information and tried to call you numerous times. The property cannot be held indefinitely for anyone. I am afraid you do not know the sales process . We do not like to reply on forums such as these but we see no choice and for a doctor I am surprised you do and you still have not made any attempt to answer us directly. Please contact the PSRA with any complaints and you will see we are entirely in the right.

We agreed the purchase of an apartment in Belturbet at €65,000. Afterwards this estate agent strung us along for 6 months. They repeatedly failed to produce any documentation for the sale of the property, and then whenever they finally did produce documentation, it was for a completely different property! They strung us along and misled us for 6 months, until we finally decided to pull the plug on the purchase. About a week after we cancelled the purchase, they had the same property back on their books at €75,000.
