I would just like to say a massive thank to Nicola at strawberry fields she has been an absolute pleasure to deal with and helped us more than we could have imagined to the point where we nearly gave up on our dream move but Nicola just kept coming back with solutions to what we that was a none mover . We moved into our new Avant Home at Brompton Mews at the end of August. Peter Brownless in the sales office has been 5* throughout the process explaining everything to us and assisting to keep our move on track (we were in a chain). Peter also helped us to choose our options for kitchen, tiling, flooring etc. and we are very pleased with the results in our new home. Peter has remained professional and friendly at all times. Since we have moved in we have had positive meetings with Lyndsey from Customer Services and Gary the Site Manager regarding the handful of inevitable new build snaggings and several of these have been resolved already. One star dropped due to the condition of the outside areas and external doors on handover but we have been reassured that the issues will be resolved as soon as possible. This is a lovely development and we are particularly pleased with our plot choice.

I've written my feedback before about the sales process in Greensward Point, Easingwold, which was very easygoing thanks to Mel :) The development was completed on time. Now, I want to give feedback after we moved in. First of all, I would like to say thank you to Craig and Andy, who were extremely helpful in answering all of our questions. They are very responsible and responsive. We found some minor issues after we moved in, and they were swiftly resolved. Second, I see that all site workers are very responsible in all they do, the development goes smoothly, and houses are being sold fast. It is clear to me that the entire development is being handled professionally. So, if you are considering buying it - don't delay. All services like water, waste collection, and deliveries were set up properly in this new neighbourhood. Even though Greensward Point is still growing, everything is arranged efficiently for the residents already living here. My family is thrilled with our new home and neighbourhood.

She ensured that we understood everything that was presented. Mel made herself available for us to revisit the site as and when necessary and answered questions even if we had already asked them previously. She was very presentable, pleasant and polite at all times and nothing was a bother.

From start to finish we have had a great experience with Avant Homes. With no intention to buy a new build yet experiencing losing out on bidding for properties, we gave Jackton Green a merely speculative look and it’s turned out to be a wonderful decision.The property was finished to a high standard with all sorts of modern and high spec finishes and fittings, appliances are wonderful, ceilings are high and all the mod cons a family could need. We just love the spacious layout, aesthetics and safe location (with double parking spaces!).We could not have asked for more efficient, friendly and professional service - with Jacqueline in particular going above and beyond, plus the home demos we had from the site managers. We experienced a very challenging moving day (my buyer’s funds were lost, resulting in a delay to moving day from Friday to following Monday) and we could not have had more support and kindness from Jacqueline who did everything she could for us and worked with such compassion and professionalism. Nothing was too much to ask.We love our new home and any reservations we had about a new build have been completely blown out of the water. Any of the usual snags can be dealt with quickly and easily - just brilliant. Neighbourhood is peaceful, safe and feels like a total life upgrade.100% would recommend Avant and Jackton Green.

We were searching for our perfect new home and found it on our 2nd visit to Jacqueline at the Jackton Green sales office, looking to downsize and having met Jacqueline previously in the sales office at Greenhall Village she knew exactly what we were looking for and immediately pointed us in the direction we needed with a gentle push to plot 99 as we were hesitant at the thought of buying smaller. Her experience, patience, and calming nature helped us massively throughout the process which took around 6 months from reservation to completion due to delays with the sale of our own home, without her reassurance I would probably have threw the towel in a long time ago, so glad that she was always there with her level head and patience. Any communication with the head office in Stirling was efficient and again the advice given was spot on.The handover given by the site foreman Jimmy was superb with all the information we needed to settle in straight away, and follow up calls dealt with professionally in a timely manner.In short the experience from start to finish we received has been excellent and I cannot thank all the Avant personnel enough for their assistance throughout with the gold star award going to Jacqueline.

Had a problem with an outside light not coming on at the front of the house after we had been in home for 15 months, logged concern on Avants website at 12:00hrs Thursday 17th December and they sent an electrician out 12:00hrs 18th of December who fixed it. The house specifications for The Kirkham were NOT the same as the contract we agreed to purchase but a cheaper downgraded version in all respects but still the same price We requested some upgrades but were informed that even though they were on their list were told they were not available and had never been an option on any of their properties example garage floor paint, it even gives you a choice of colours. What a jokeWe were not shown latest kitchen layout and units. Bathroom sanitary wear was not as on the original specifications paperwork either but a cheaper version. But house price was not reduced to reflect this. We had to continue to point out Avants shortcomings. Each and every week

This company is a disgrace and happily runs on a culture of not caring about the customer. The so called contractors ( tradesmen is too good a word ) clearly historically pass on to apprentices all the corner cutting and bad practices they’ve learned and then get away with it as everyone hides behind the saying “ well they are on peace work “ so when they do cut said corners they know it’s not them that will be made to return to do the job correctly but instead will be passed to a customer care team to come in to rectify there sloppy lazy unprofessional efforts. Obviously when the customer care people come in the majority will make the situation worse and leave so even that proves to be the next challenge. That’s if your lucky enough to actually get any assistance from customer care ( or couldn’t care as the case is ) Unfortunately the reality is until the government decide to intervene with these disgusting building practices they will continue to trade under this ethos. Have a search on building today magazine for Avant CEO left as he wasn’t happy with the direction they company was heading. It says it all that the original CEO was planning to stay on after the ex Persimmon CEO bought Avant out under the SME Berkeley DeVeer group but after learning of the changes decided he didn’t want to be part of it. Avant don’t deserve to have people handover there hard earned money to experience the slop. If your going to leave a positive review saying how good Billy was helping to choose your options or how Mary took hours to answer all your questions so well. Just remember they are sales people and that’s what they are there to do … love you to death until you part with your money. Then you can experience the true reality thereafter.

Don’t even waste your money with Avant, the build quality is horrendous and you wouldn’t believe the amount of damage on doors, windows, walls and ceilings! Everything is made out to be the customers fault and they take no responsibility for anything and blame everyone else! Even the directors just fob you off. They are not interested once they have your money! L

My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, filled with lies, deception, and broken promises.From the moment I embarked on this journey with Avant, I encountered a series of issues that have left me physically and emotionally drained. Here are some of the key reasons why I would never recommend Avant Homes to anyone:1. **Lack of Transparency**: Avant Homes consistently failed to provide clear and honest information about the property I purchased. From the condition of the house to the promised repairs, they kept me in the dark, leaving me to discover the truth the hard way.2. **Deceptive Practices**: I have been subjected to deceptive practices by Avant Homes. Promises were made and then conveniently forgotten. I was told repairs had been completed, only to find out that the work was shoddy, incomplete, or never started in the first place.3. **Ignored Disability**: As a disabled veteran with physical injuries, I had expected a certain level of understanding and accommodation from Avant Homes. The avant experience is awful!!!! I would like to say be careful when buying with avant homes but what really should be said is once you buy with avant you will most likely face disappointment with your purchase on your NEW HOME.Just about everyone i have spoke to in our new development is unhappy with avant homes. Theres one person who has purchased a new home which is so bad he hasnt managed to move in with his family yet for over a year,the house is covered in mold and damp.Hes having to go through court proceedings to get avant to fix it as avant are not willing to spend the money to fix the house. Its ment to be a new house with warranty???Promised so much and didn't get half of it.im stuck with a house that has problems from top to bottom.some snags have been fixed but only the smallest ones and even at that they have been fixed to a bad standard,some of the repairs have caused more damage to the situation and then i have been left with that.for example my kitchen had dent in it and the guy who came to fix it scored chipped my worktop replacing a panel and now im left with defected chipped worktop instead.avant promised my family a high standard build throughout and its so far from that i feel conned.House was filthy on hand over plus garden was swamped,staff at avant home Scotland are ignorant and not helpful and take ages to reply to messages,phone calls are a waste of time as most things require emailing.some emails taking 60 days to be replied to by avant with no moving forward action,its all very frustrating.i see avant has a terrible rating score on here which doesnt surprise me in the slightest. i have read a lot of the 5 star reviews and they seem made up to me??? the other pages on avant homes are the same flooded with bad reviews and frustrated buyers. How is avant getting away with this....Definitely the worst house builder i have experienced out of the three i have used from my last house and my daughters house. avant has been a shock experience compared to the other builders we used who communicated well and fixed the problems with the previous houses. so many house up for sale already and i am thinking of selling my avant home as well.

We've recently moved into our Avant home at Draffen Park in Stewarton and we've had an excellent experience from the get go. Ashley Lee has been incredible throughout the 6 month journey leading up to our move in date & really went the extra mile for us during this time. Since moving in, we are absolutely delighted with the quality and workmanship of all aspects of the house, we've has a few snagging issues which are to be expected but since moving in at the end of June, Del and the onsite team have made us feel very well looked after and are always keen to help. Compared to new build properties I've owned in the past I can honestly say the quality of service, workmanship, fixtures and fittings are far superior, we're really happy with our decision to purchase an Avant home.

I bought my house 8 weeks ago on Summerville Village I absolutely love this house. Yes there may be few snagging problems which I would expect for a new build however this service responding to these problems it's out of this world. Bill was the first site manager was polite courteous friendly always there to help Mark and Matthew taking over and again address every problem I have. The problems are only small and they are addressed quickly. Customer Services especially Natalie always respond to my emails within 24 hours if not sooner and always friendly and helpful. Lindsay is always there to look after me and advise me nothing is a problem for her Angela in sales was excellent when I was buying my house as I was unsure whether to buy or not. She helped me all the way from buying to moving in and gave excellent support.I would say to anyone looking at houses in Summerville Villiage they are excellent company all workers down to tradesmen builders especially dezzy and site managers are professional friendly and really do give an excellent service. I love this site the house is spacious bright and has a good feel. The garden is really big and everything is built to a high standard. I would advise anyone to consider buying a house on this new build estate well worth the money.

I purchased my new Avant home in April 2019 - 4 and a half years ago. The development was Rainton Green near Sunderland in the North East.As is usually expected with new builds, there were issues which were dealt with and rectified under the builders 2 year warranty, in a timely manner and to a high standard.One issue I had was with surface water retention to my rear garden. It was resolved in 2020 but resurfaced in 2021. The new senior management team, from the Persimmon company, took on board my concerns in May 2022.Understandably, due to the complex nature of the problems in the garden and Avant, needing to ensure any remedial work required this time would last, took the time to employ a landscape company which would resolve this once and for all.Lazenby Landscapes carried out the work to the highest professional standards in June 2023 and has resulted in no more surface water.I have to thank the senior management team of Avant Homes North East for working with me to bring this to a satisfactory conclusion and long after the 2 year builders warranty period (due to it being identified within the first 2 years). In addition, I have to recognise, certainly within the Customer Care department of Avant Homes North East, are the updates and support they have and continue to provide. Stacey and her team, and in particular, Helen, have a challenging job to do, balancing the needs of staffing, dealing with contractors, conflicting schedules and ultimately having to relay this to customers.All this, day in and day out which I continue to both acknowledge and appreciate. One piece of advice - when customers have problems, deal with the people who can hopefully resolve them - the builder! Rather than taking your frustrations out on TrustPilot and above all try to be patient and respectful at all times. Mutual respect always wins through as has been proven in my case by raising any issues, if needed, to the top of the organisation. It can be achieved. Thank you Avant. It has been a long-ish journey but we got there in the end.

I hate reviews and never give them as it's always a 1-star foot stomper or a 5-star auto-giver. So you have to read through loads to filter the ones with substance and thought. We have now been in our Home coming up for 2 years, which seems an appropriate time to leave a review. The headline is that we love our home and are very happy. Snags: A few were identified at move-in but were quickly dealt with. Interim faults: A few occurred as we lived but again all were dealt with promptly and professionally.Current state: Perfect. Sticking points: We did have a slight disagreement about one thing but I was impressed with how they dealt with it and understood our needs and then resolved it. Luckily they ruled in our favour, but actually if not I would have been equally as happy given their approach. The customer service team are amazing, especially Shelby who goes above and beyond to make sure we are informed and consulted about our work. Also, we would like to mention Andy the site manager, and Zoe our customer liaison manager who also helped us greatly and treat us with great care. Lastly, one of the tradies who went above and beyond on all occasions, and even did an extra call for us in his own time to make sure the fix was perfect is Ian. They are all good but this guy really knows his stuff and is an immaculate worker with a great standard of finish. Overall very happy and far better service and build than other house builders. Experience has been better than 'as expected', we understood there would be snags, issues and work to be done as with any new-build in a working site.
