My wife Glenda and I moved house just over a year ago. Bridget Blaizey at Roderick Thomas in Castle Cary was the agent selling us the house. Among all of the people we had to deal with (estate agents, solicitors, surveyors etc) she was far and away the most efficient, friendly, helpful person. Nothing was too much trouble and she was constantly in touch to keep us up to date on proceedings. Finding the right Estate Agent is seldom easy, or - as many would testify, easy to get wrong, but in finding Bridget at Roderick Thomas in the Castle Cary Office we struck gold. From day one we felt we were in the right hands, dynamic, empathetic, cheerful and understanding of the stresses of selling, Bridget took a realistic and positive overview; no pie in the sky or superficial promises, whilst fully supportive. One could not ask for nicer people than Harry and Bridget to work with when selling a property. Both are extremely professional with a wealth of knowledge and experience , particularly concerning the local market. They were always quick to respond to queries, deal with any potential difficulties and keep us informed of progress. He came across as arrogant and extremely rude. This is not the sort of attitude I have experienced from other estate agents or indeed the other staff at Roderick Thomas and an appalling demonstration of customer service.
