GoogleThis was our first time buying a house and Carl, as our estate agent, helped with the entire process massively. He was very responsive to my messages and calls. When I needed to communicate with the sellers via him, he did it promptly. He gave us as a peace of mind that things are still progressing smoothly. He also gave us very good guidance and advice throughout the process when we needed it. I would highly recommend Ray&Brown and especially Carl.

GoogleWithout doubt a first class estate agent service from Carl at Ray & Brown. Highly competitive fees (they were my cheapest quote) and fantastic marketing as a result of the first class photography by Helen. From start to finish, the service offered felt a very personal one; without doubt Carl really cared for the client and not just the sale. My property sold quickly and Carl was excellent at handling buyers' questions sensitively, whilst at the same time considering my own position as vendor. Carl also gave great advice around surveys, mortgages, solicitors etc. which really helped when things didn't go quite as smoothly as expected. Don't think going with one of the bigger names in the area buys you a better service...I can't see it how I can; Ray & Brown every time! Thanks Carl for everything.

The photos were excellent, a reasonable selling price was set and all viewings taken care of. House was sold very quickly and at a price that I was expecting. Great service for excellent rates. GoogleWe have used a variety of high street estate agents in the past but thought we would try something a bit different this time. We saw a Ray & Brown sign locally and thought we’d give them a go. The main attraction was the relatively low fixed fee. We’d already had quotes from three other agents, but these were over double the R&B fee. Others promised the earth, but R&B promised professionalism. Carl Ray dealt with our house purchase. He is a keen photographer, which reflected in the high quality photographs of our house. The advertisement on Rightmove and Zoopla were impressive, creating immediate interest. Carl himself showed prospective purchasers around, taking pressure off us. He even accompanied the surveyor as we were unavailable. We sold our house within the first few weeks. Carl also liaised with ourselves, the purchaser and the solicitors before final completion, making the process seamless and stress free. We have sold many properties in the past, but this was definitely our best experience.

GoogleWe recently bought our first property from Ray & Brown, and we couldn't recommend their services enough. Our estate agent Carl Ray was proactive, reliable, and was our point of contact from start to finish, answering every one of our calls or emails immediately over the 6 month buying process. Not only did he keep us updated throughout the journey, but was also on hand to give advice and reassurance regarding the process of buying our first home. We found buying our property from a smaller agency like Ray & Brown to be nothing but a positive experience, only ever dealing with the two owners directly, and not once having to chase them for a response. We will certainly look to use Ray & Brown in the future should we ever decide to move on to another property.

GoogleWe can’t praise Jeremy from Ray and Brown enough. We had a very difficult sale with problems from the outset with the solicitors, Land Registry and Companies House. From accepting the offer to the actual completion was 248 days! We did a lot of the donkey work that the solicitors didn’t do and Jeremy did all he could to help. Thankfully it’s all done now.

They sold our house on the first day and managed problems that cropped up during the selling process professionally and openly. GoogleI don't know where to start what a professionally run company. Carl and Jeremy are down to earth. They both worked tirelessly even out of hours on many occasions to meet tight deadlines which saved me over £2500. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone they got me the mortgage where other companies failed they have your interests at heart.
