GoogleWe wanted to take the time to thank Aaron Turner from Strutt and Parker Canterbury because he was incredibly helpful throughout the process of us buying our new house. He always ensured that he came back to us with the answers to our very many questions, and nothing was too much trouble for him. He certainly made the process much easier for us, bearing in mind that purchasing a house can be very stressful. We would recommend Strutt and Parker to any other would-be purchasers.

We had an excellent experience with Strutt and Parker, Perth office. They were consistently kind, considerate always responsive. All the staff at the Perth office, especially Hamish and Amy were genuinely invested in the sale of our house and we were extremely impressed with the service. This is the second time we have used Strutt and Parker with the sale of our houses and we do not hesitate to recommend them.

We bought a house from Strutt and Parker and from the start they were FAB! Amy was quick to respond to emails and phone calls and made the process easy. To top it all, she was always really positive, reassuring and cheerful. If I was selling my house again in the future, I would definitely look at using Strutt and Parker as my estate agent.

I cannot recommend Andrew Sartain at the Newbury office highly enough. Communication, understanding and support were excellent. And when completion was due so near to Christmas, he kept me calm and did everything possible to resolve the issues in the chain.

This relates to the rentals service in Cambridge. We rented a house from Strutt & Parker for more than three years. They were never quick to deal with repairs and other issues, however we had a direct relationship with the owner which made life easier. When we moved out at the end of June 2024, we got the full benefit of Strutt & Parker's contempt for tenants, stunning slowness and incompetence. It took them nearly four months -- until 28 October 2024 -- to return the deposit. There was a litany of lame excuses about the time needed for estimates for some minor repairs. The reality was that it just wasn't a priority, they didn't care and they couldn't even work out which photographs attached to the contract corresponded to which actual rooms. If you rent property in Cambridge, beware this lot. Or at least be ready to suffer.

Edward Church of the Canterbury office having taken over from another Estate Agent managed a complicated probate estate sale. After a lack of interest in the sale as a whole he devised a 3 lot plan that has, with his patience and persistence delivered a result. His professional and courteous manner and common sense got us over the line.

GoogleWe have never experienced such lack of professionalism. The team was aware that we are travelling 1.5-2 hours with infant twins to view multiple properties. On arrival I saw an email sent 5-10 minutes prior to the viewing saying it was cancelled because nobody could show us around due to someone calling in sick last minute. When calling the agency they apologied of course saying that the person in charge at the development as well as the agency were not around either. The developer apparently did not even know the time of the viewing hence the late cancellation. It is beyond me how nobody can cover a sick colleague especially under these circumstances and how the viewing time is unknown so potential buyers are not wasting time and petrol driving there, not to mention the effort it takes travelling with infant twins.

We understand the significant effort involved in traveling such a distance, especially with young children, and regret that we fell short of providing the seamless experience you rightfully expected. Unfortunately, the unexpected illness and absence of a key team member of the developer’s team left them unable to provide adequate coverage for your viewing. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we are reviewing our internal processes to improve how we manage unforeseen situations, and to cater in the best possible way for unexpected events.
