GoogleA-V-O-I-D My landlord decided to rent the house where I used to live through abode The agreement with them was if I could find new tenant they were able to accept pets So I provide them new possibile tenants ready to come and view the house And they keep rescheduled or canceling appointment with them The last time this happened they contacted two hours before the appointment one of the guy who was interested to rent one of the room saying they already rented the house to someone who contacted their agency This guy message me for letting me know and I was surprised and disappointed They didn't even bother tell me and my flatmate they rented the house to someone's else which cause that to look last minute for somewhere to live I discover that from a stranger!

GoogleHonestly have nothing bad to say about Abode so far. The move in process was simple, everything was taken care of. Anytime I have called them about an issue, they answer pretty much immediately and it is resolved as soon as possible. The staff are avsolutely lovely.

GoogleI would strongly advise you do not go anywhere near them because they are nothing but stress. They take months to send out forms, they lie and make stuff up. They have so much faffing around and they are so slow. They don’t even know what’s on their own tenancy contracts. Constantly trying to take money away from you. They make so much stuff up and you need to be able to catch them out on their own lies.

GoogleIf I could give them zero, I would. They conducted viewings at my place with no formal notice ahead - they opened the door, came in with a stranger, and showed them our apartment while I was home, without telling us ahead. This is absolutely not okay. When I confronted them about it, Ellie in particular is the most unprofessional, nonchalant rep I’ve ever met in my life. When I confronted, she lied that she had emailed us and given notice, and when I asked for proof, she was unable to provide any. In some ways, they’ve been fair, in terms of maintenance and repairs. Rachel in particular is always helpful, and apologetic. But this particular experience has left me feeling violated in my own home, as they literally barged in with a stranger.

GoogleThe worst company I never met before zero stars. everyone should be caution and that. First, they said this is a student house but others are working people. Secondly, I booked a largest room but they give me a smallest room and didn't tell me before I move in although I talked with them latter and they are very unwilling to changed a little bit bigger room. Thirdly, they don't let you to check the room conditions after I moved in the whole house in a mess and the living room was full of rubbish and waste.

GoogleThe worsttttt agent to exist ! If I could rate 0 star I would. Traumatising experience with them. They are an agent who are actively scamming vulnerable students in Canterbury. Manipulating and scamming students to pay for services that simply doesn't exist. They have also not given back my deposit since my contract ended in the summer. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They will lie to you, to take money from you and scam you.

GoogleBlatantly lied about having cleaned the property and very difficuilt to communicate with as they ignore messages not about money. Take advantage of students expecting them to know no better.

Hi Alexander, We are really confused by this comment as you have a whatsapp group with us, your landlord and a maintenance team to report any issues and having checked this there are no current maintenance issues. You have also asked to renew your tenancy next year which seems odd based on this review, and being unhappy. Perhaps you would like to call us or pop in to discuss further.
