We have just completed the sale of our parents' house in Highgate with Pricket and Ellis, and would like to express appreciation of how smoothly the whole process went! It was a bit of a shaky moment to go into the market, and emptying out the house was a major effort. But Chris and Serge kept everything moving with minimum stress: not only did they achieve a sale at quite a bit over the asking price, but the process of agreeing dates, sorting out access and other issues, and managing minor hiccups on the way was as close to trouble-free as it could be. They kept everything moving and kept us informed, and told a lot of good stories along the way - their in-depth and entertaining knowledge of Highgate was a real bonus! We're very happy to recommend them.

We have just exchanged contracts on our sale and purchase. Our sale was handled by Prickett and Ellis, estate agents, and in particular by Serge Weinberger of their Highgate office. He found our buyers nine months ago at a time when the sales market was flat. For a succession of reasons, none the fault of Prickett and Ellis or the buyers, the transaction proceeded very slowly but throughout that time Serge was involved in ironing out problems and encouraging all parties to get on. We have used Prickett and Ellis to sell properties for us over the last almost fifty years and found that Serge is in the tradition of that firm in dealing with matters in a professional, honest and committed fashion. As children, my sisters, indeed my childhood friends, and I spent long hours in Waterlow Park and Hampstead Heath whenever the weather allowed, cycling around Pond Square and along the High Street, gliding through some of the most beautiful streets of London, carefully avoiding the climb up Highgate Hill, and simply enjoying life. I have been a client of Prickett and Ellis in he Muswell Hill and Hornsey area of London for 22 years. Cheryl and her team have provided an absolutely seamless service over that whole period of time while I have been living in Australia. There have been no gaps in tenancies except the tenants letting each other in and out LOL! Every issue there has been in these old buildings has been dealt with promptly, professionally, economically and efficiently, with very little input from me. Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service, feel furious I had to pay them anything at all. No communication- constantly didn’t reply to calls and emails, sold the house and never even spoke to the agent- shocking! He avoided us in the street as he knew we’d ask him to answer the emails, and once even told me he had couldn’t answer my emails as was so so busy and had to dash off to an appointment so couldn’t talk and then went straight in to the local Irish pub to watch the euros!! Some of the team were helpful and friendly but the agent who sold our property unfortunately was really disinterested. Didn’t even communicate the day we exchanged or completed- all contact we had was through the solicitors. Such a shame
