FacebookTook our deposit for a flat, failed to communicate with the landlord, the landlord sold the flat on her own and we have now to got to find a new one. Hugely unresponsive agents also, no emails replied to, very few texts replied to, had to call around 5 times over the space of hours to get through, only to be told multiple times they were busy and would call back in 10 minutes, following which they eventually called roughly 2 or 3 hours later after more calls from our end. Agent knew the landlord frequently went behind their backs and still let the flat out to us, received our holding deposit back at least but with no apology, and was rushed off the phone without even the possibility of asking any questions. Incredibly unprofessional estate agent, massive waste of time.
I wish i saw this post earlier as i just wasted 2 days communicating with them and 2 hours travelling to find nothing. The agent Robert Macholland cancelled my appointments in last moment 2 days in a row and when i finally went there the guy stopped responding. I was late by 5 minutes maximum and the guy said he already left as no one was there at the time. Massive waste of time and unconsiderate idiots running it.
