Absolutely appalling service, escalated my enquiry up to stakeholders after trying for a week to get a response from the staff at the Oxford office. received an apology and a promise someone would call, however on the one occasion someone did return my call it was to promise to call back, which on one ever did. Do not use these Agents

I wish there was a zero option. Shocking service whilst renting. They tried to keep our entire deposit and claim for things they themselves had removed and damaged that they had never resolved. Had to go to arbitration and we got our deposit back. Bunch of crooks. Our case was particularly stressful and I will be going public with it.

Incompetent and untrustworthy Hills road branch

One of the worst renting experiences of my life ( hills road Cambridge branch)Make sure you know your rights as a tenant if you are renting through Carter jonas, I am usually quite relaxed and reasonable but the issues we had with this property and company were frankly incomprehensible.Mice twice, mold, burst toilet pipes, mushrooms from black mold,dangerous fuse box to name a few.No problem just tell Carter jonas and it will get fixed right? WRONG! Must be our fault as tenants! Only have the landlords interest as a client in their mind. Only when you involve environmental health do they get their act together.Wasted a few months to get my deposit money back through adjudication! ( had the cheek to try deduct £700 for pre-existing issues) And guess what we won. Wish I could post picture of the filth they thought was an acceptable property to let out, or the landlord showing up uninvited to blame Carter jonas on last few days of tenancy. As if they aren’t as bad as each other! Our neighbours told us this is a common issue with the house, so must be used to treating a tenant like dirt and hoping they won’t challenge them.All 5 star reviews have an incentive to leave a review , received a request day 1 of tenancy - luckily I didn’t leave one for a chance to win £100 pounds…So some advice:1. Don’t use Carter jonas 2.keep all evidence off issues you have reported if you do use them3. Take your own photographs when leaving.4. Know your rights as a tenant

Worst Experience with a letting agency

Worst Experience with a letting agency. They never do the job unless you tell them you are going to complain to the council or sue them, and more than that, they are extremely rude, arriving at the point they insult their customers. Oh, I should not forget to mention they lie when advertising their properties!
