FacebookToday I was amased. Feedback from a viewing of my property was "it is a lovely property, but because it has no garage, it's not what I want". But what is so tragic about the 8 months that SQ had my property on their books and a handful of viewings, is that this was the most responsive of all. And what was Amazing about this? SQ description of the property "there is also a garage in a block with power and light with an electric up and over door"

I wouldn’t give them a star. Service for rental appalling. No communication no reports sent till end of tenancy. House was left disgusting. They didn’t do reports or follow up on anything. Jay sat on mobile all time while Valentino made excuses for everything they got paid to manage!!!! JOKE

GoogleIt's been a few weeks now since we've moved into our new home in Cambourne with Sharman Quinney being very helpful throughout the process, specifically Charlie and Lewis. We had the offer accepted back at the end of July and they helped us through the process, including mortgages and facilitating communication between ourselves and the vendors. Even got a welcome package when I picked up the keys which was a suprirse and a first.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleI have recently spent some rather fractious months selling my house where things did not always run smoothly, through no fault of the estate agent. Through it all George McDermott was ever helpful and abundantly cheerful. Always greeted with a smile; from what I could see of his face. He liaised between myself and buyers and was always able to reach a satisfactory compromise between us. Would definitely recommend for his manner alone.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

FacebookI would not trust this letting agent! They are given us the run around in regards to giving our deposit back! We left the property end of October and still haven't got our deposit back, I've called a number of times chasing and emailed. It is a joke the person who is dealing with us is Mo, he takes ages to get back to us and doesn't seem to care what so ever. How the hell do I get my money back? We have bent over backwards to try get our money back! Awful letting agent! I recommend you stay far away from this place and find another agent!
Hi Kim, we're sorry to hear that you wouldn't recommend our services. Mo sent the deposit release form on the 16/12 however there was a renewal fee outstanding which meant the deposit was unable to be processed. In order for this to go ahead we need to obtain consent from all the tenants once more which was outlined in the email. Mo has advised that he also spoke to you on the 2nd January but please let us know should you have any further queries.

GoogleWe have been searching for a property in the area around Papworth for the last six months. During this time we have had dealings with many estate agents. We first came across George when we viewed a property in Papworth advertised by Sharman Quinney. Unfortunately our offer was rejected by the seller in November 2018. Since then, George has phoned us regularly for an update on our situation and has taken the time and trouble to match our requirements to various properties. If we were selling a house in the area, George at Sharman Quinney would be our first choice. Thanks, Jane & Ian

They managed to find a buyer for our property, even before the pictures were online, demonstrating how well they understand their customers. We were very pleased to sell our property for a fair price despite all uncertainties in the housing marked due to Brexit. I am very happy to recommend their services! Thank you!

Please avoid using Sharman Quinney under any circumstances. If I could have given no stars I would have, there is nothing good that can be said about this agency. It's honestly the worst agency I have ever come across and I've been in the industry myself for 14 years now. They cannot even carry out basic due diligence when advertising a property so be prepared to be misinformed. One property was advertised as both freehold and leasehold, when we phoned to check we were told it was freehold, but it turned out through our solicitor it did have a lease too. They also didn't know the seller was only selling with a limited title not a full one, something that again only came to light through our solicitor six months later, a complete waste of everyone's time that could have been avoided if Sharman Quinney could be bothered to get to know the sellers and the houses they are selling better. The property we eventually ended up buying was advertised as having allocated off road parking. When we phoned to check this we were told this was definitely correct. Common sense told us this didn't seem right as none of the properties there had parking and the space was no where near the house! It turned out this was not the case at all and there was no parking with the house. It no longer fitted our needs however as this all happen several weeks down the line, and we were due to be made homeless in a matter of weeks, we simple had no choice but to proceed. Sharman Quinney's response to this was 'we take the word of our sellers' so it seems they will believe anything you tell them as a seller, despite the fact common sense should have made any competent agent question the parking situation in this case. Sharman quinney are the only agency I know to get away with not carrying out basic due diligence. You will never be able to get hold of anyone at the branch, we had to phone another branch on many occasions to get them to contact the Shelford office for us, they don't reply to any phone calls or emails. They have a turn over of staff every few weeks, you are not told when someone is leaving nor introduced to someone new starting. The person starting will also have no clue what's going on with the sale so be prepared to constantly have to repeat yourself. They do not bother giving you any updates or chase a sale for you, complete laziness. They will be sitting on their personal mobile phones everytime you drive past. When we raised a complaint about their shortfallings and appalling service, we didn't get a single apology. How this agency is still running honestly baffles me, at the very least the Shelford branch should not be allowed to continue practicing.

GoogleI recently purchased a house (lower Cambourne) through the Sharman Quinney office in Cambourne, and would highly recommend them for any future sales. The team were supportive throughout the process, and in particular, when dealing with conflict resolution with the seller. They went above and beyond on a number of occasions, acting as a mediator between parties, and were active in following up with solicitors and pushing the whole process along. Without them, the sale may never have happened.

FacebookA massive thank you to the Thrapston branch, we have had the most professional and friendly service we could’ve asked for! They sold our house in a week, then unfortunately our buyers pulled out on the day of exchange! This was obviously very stressful (over Christmas) but they were straight back on it getting us lots of viewings, they have just sold it again for us (above our last offer too 😊) they have been so supportive and at the end of the phone when ever we have needed them! We would 100% recommend them!! Thank you xx

FacebookAfter reading reviews me and my other half were concerned whether to use them for our first house mortgage, but as the house was on sale through them we thogh it will be beneficial. So we went ahead, our mortgage adviser is a lovely lady from yaxley office named Viktorija, she was soooo helpfull to us and explained everything in detail as like she was buying and arranging mortgage for her self, we have received such a professional service and lowest mortgage rates from this person that we will be celebrating our best christmas ever, the xmas spirit went from 7/10 to 10/10!!!!
