Tom Bailey-Smith was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He was responsive and attentive and always willing and happy to go the extra mile to get me across the line. I could not have asked for a better mortgage advisor and were it not for Tom's hard work, dedication and expertise, I would not have been able to secure my house. In my view, Tom went above and beyond, picking up the slack when my buyer's appalling solicitor dropped the ball and even doing their job for them to ensure the sale didn't fall through. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

My young family and I were due to move into a property this January. We viewed the property a month before, and Sharman Quinney sent us a contract to sign. Throughout the process communication was very poor. We rang the office more or less everyday in the week up to the move as we had yet to receive a signed contract from the landlord. We were assured everything was progressing but 48 hours before we were due to move in (a date that was agreed by both parties), Sharman Quinney revealed that they had had no contact with the landlord for ten days. Because we were due to be moving in two days time, we had organised movers, new nurseries and schools for our children, and end of tenancy cleaners. All this cost considerable time and money. Sharman Quinney then confessed that the property would not be able to be let to us as there was a burst pipe. Even if this were true, all of this could have been communicated to us days before. If there had been worryingly no contact with the landlord, this should’ve been said to us. Instead, we were left homeless and now have nowhere to move into. As a mother of a family of two children under four, this is incredibly distressing.

He has throughout my journey on the house buying /selling stood out head and shoulders from all the other agents from all the other agencies, that i have had contact with. He replys to calls and emails promptly, finds relevent information on requested properties, searches for additional options and presents them with convenient viewing times. Our Sharman Quinney Mortgage Advisor is the worst, she has no integrity thinks it’s OK to lie to clients for months saying that a mortgage has been applied for when it hasn’t. When asked for information about our mortgage application months later when we still haven’t heard from the mortgage company she wouldn’t give it to us and takes the typically tactile approach of telephoning us instead of responding in writing so her incompetence isn’t traceable in writing. Absolutely incapable of aligning client expectations accordingly, not proactive at all, lacking in customer service skills and evidently incompetent. We’ve been told by her ‘I’m really sorry it’s completely my fault that your mortgage application wasn’t submitted’ but the woman clearly couldn’t give a toss about the impact this has on us as a client. It doesn’t bode well that we’ve not been offered someone more senior to handle this matter and I really believe she’s just hiding her own mistakes from management. No compensation offered at all! Sharman Quinney Management please put some transparent information on your website about what clients are meant to do in these situations as you seem to have forgotten you work for your clients and it really comes across that your more invested in your relationships with your mortgage providers who pay you a commission.

The Sharman Quinney team in Cambourne have been fantastic in helping us purchase our first house. From day 1, George bent over backwards to facilitate a very early viewing (basically as soon as he got the keys) which helped us get in a strong position with an accepted offer 3 days later. Luke has got a great team in Cambourne who really do try and do the right thing for both buyers and sellers. In particular, Emily has been 'on it'; updating us almost daily. The Team have been fantastic and professional throughout the whole process and have always been helpful and available. A record sale from the team at Sharman Quinney, Cambourne! I am so pleased that Luke is back in Cambourne as the Senior Branch Manager. This is the fifth time I have sold a house with Sharman Quinney as well as buying one or two (not all at the same time they have been my homes!). Emily and George came to see the house so that they had a good understanding of our needs and the benefits of the house. They had arranged a viewing before we had even had time for Luke to value it! After a quick flurry of viewings the house has been sold in 5 days which means we can move forward with the house we really wanted. All the team are now working for a smooth and speedy transaction. Tried to rent a flat with them

Tried to rent a flat with them. Explained everything regarding my addresses and they said it’s going to be okay. 10 days later they turn around and say your application has been denied and won’t send my holding fee back and claim I lied on the application. The agents rush applications and the whole system is looking to fail your application so they keep the holding fee. Don’t go with them they will cheat you. Not helpful and treat you like a machine with no feelings. Even out the phone down on me when I request to speak to a manager to get a better explanation. Very sad.
