GoogleExtremely disappointing experience with this letting agent.
In my experience, the biggest problem was the way the tenancy was handled, particularly towards the end. Communication was frustrating, and I felt I was repeatedly put under unnecessary pressure rather than being dealt with fairly and professionally.
The deposit situation was the final straw. After I left the property, the agent/landlord claimed £1,221 from my £1,670 deposit for cleaning and redecoration. I disagreed with the deductions and provided my evidence to the DPS, including the check-in and check-out reports, photographs, receipts and correspondence.
What frustrated me most was that I felt the agent was far too quick to put forward substantial deductions instead of properly considering the condition recorded at the start of the tenancy and the evidence I provided.
My honest advice to anyone dealing with this letting agent: document absolutely everything. Take photographs, keep your inventory, save every email and don’t feel pressured into accepting deductions simply because you’re told that disputing them will delay your deposit.
After this experience, I would not recommend this letting agent and I would not use them again. Zero stars if Google allowed it.
