YellCould not be worse if they tried
At the start they severely over-estimated the value of the house to get our business then refused to reduce the price until we threatened to leave, despite all the feedback telling them their estimate was wrong. They simply they refused to listen.They forgot that we accepted an offer and forgot to reply to either side's solicitors causing several weeks delay. After many reassurances that they were now doing better and monitoring they caused further delays because they forgot to arrange an energy certificate (which should have been done week 1 not on the week before exchange!).Whole process was a shambles, every stage filled with errors. In addition there was little feedback from viewings, no updates during the sale (I think they just forgot about us completely).Most sales/purchases may involve a hiccup at some point, but this was an utterly ridiculous level of incompetence. You would be better off selling the house yourself, or spend every day on the phone chasing them to get them to do their job.(I've sold / bought many many times, but never had such bad service before). Even their managers have no clue what is going on - you just get one apology after another along with "this has never happened before!".
