LANDLORDS/LANDLADYS BEWARE!!!! Really poor experience from this company. Me and my family were looking to rent a property to which we were told we had to pay a years rent upfront which was around £23,000. Lorraine said you might have to dip into your savings? Imagine a renter paying £23,000 upfront in rent! We pleaded all different options, but all were a no based on the landlord according to Lorraine who wouldn’t even put us forward to the landlord Lucky escape for us, I feel sorry for other tenants but most of all the landlords, their properties are sitting empty due to the pathetic excuse of customer service. I understand they are providing a service for the landlords/landlady’s but they are also providing a service for tenants, which with them doesn’t seem like it’s even close to being important.

Absolutely awful place. As a tenant I have never been treated so poorly. So many things to write but will choose just 1. When our 2nd child was born she became very ill after 6 days and was rushed to hospital and kept in for 4 days. This was over Xmas time. We asked to put the rent payment back a little as we don't drive and needed to get 4 cabs a day to and from hospital. Lorraine decided to call my partner and berate her for not having savings and went on talking about the poor old landlord. Not once did she even ask about our newborn baby. Awful woman!

Went to view a property in Buntingford, was called by Lorraine (who was always very professional and delightful to deal with) to say Chris is running late from the viewing before ours. We arrived 5 mins after our appointment time as we knew he was running late and waited outside the house for 20 minutes, then called to check what was happening only to be told very rudely by Chris that he had gone back to the office and was not coming back because we weren't there the exact minute he finished his last appointment!! Completely unacceptable that we had driven for 2 hours to get there, only to be left talking on the phoneto a rude, arrogant business owner who kept making it clear he was not moving! Showed no interest or concern we had come so far and were genuinely interested in the property only to be let down and left fuming having wasted 4 hours of our day going to and from this property and wasting petrol thanks to Chris Dellar, absolutely appauling!

Anyone can be nice when they're selling you something. Once theres a problem you see their true colours. Unfortunately, this is the first negative experience in 20 years. I would not recommend. I had my drain in my kitchen due to an extension and it was connected to the toilet plumbing, it was blocked and leaking and Chris's didn't do a thing saying Lorraine would only be in on Monday. I agree with Sarah, I had the same ill treatment from both these owners. They refused to also do repairs at the end of tenancy. Had no mercy when I was unemployed due to Covid.

I found a property on rightmove that Chris Dellar Properties was advertising. I can honestly say Chris and his team were very helpful all the way through the process of buying our home and making sure that everything went without a glitch. Their help and advice were second to none. I would highly recommend Chris Dellar Properties. Thanks again.

My parents sold their property through Chris Dellar's Estate Agents. Past experiences with estate agents have generally been quite negative, but I'm pleased to say this company have restored my faith in Estate Agents(!) They acted with honesty and transparency, and I felt they genuinely cared about my parent's wellbeing. Tracey

Fantastic estate agents. Went over and beyond to help us in buying our first property. Friendly, kind and never made me feel like I was a nuisance. Even though I was phoning daily! Would recommend 100%!
