I happily excluded the Inventory checks, but agents convinced me (landlord) to take an inventory check with additional charges, so I decided to take it. After the full report there was no mention of water meter reading taken.  Surprisingly they didn't know where it was, and eventually found it, with my help, but now could not read the meter. Maybe too lazy to bend over and clean the meter, to be able to check. Failed to report to the Thames Water company after my request, as I was outside of the country.   After my approach to the water company no complaint was logged on. Not surprised. No different than other Estate Agents. Send a 16 years old boy to check the water meter and guess what he did the Job. I wouldn’t call unprofessionals, but clearly no interest in providing an extra mile of service, to keep a smile on landlords, or tenants. And thank God for not giving them a Full Management.

I would strongly advise against using Woodholls Lettings Agency. My experience as a client has been deeply frustrating and unprofessional from start to finish. Over a tenancy lasting four years, not a single inspection was carried out, a basic part of property management that any competent agency should provide. Communication was virtually non-existent, and when rent payments were delayed for two months (despite the tenants having proof they had sent them to the agency), the money was eventually passed on in one bulk sum without explanation or accountability. Even more concerning, Woodholls have been operating despite showing as being in liquidation on Companies House since 2024. This raises serious questions about their credibility and the security of funds handled through them. To make matters worse, when passing the property on to a new agent, they dismissed legitimate concerns by saying that “nothing is ever enough for the client.” This attitude perfectly sums up their lack of professionalism and disregard for both landlords and tenants.

We went looking for an estate agent to market our home, we chose Woodholls in Aylesbury because of a recommendation and the way Grant represented himself and his company. Grant works on reputation, and it is working. From the initial assessment to working with us to highlight points of sale to setting up viewing he was always on the ball. When things started to become complicated (which house sales seem to do!) he did an excellent job at calming the waters and working flat out to resolve issues, always there to answer questions and make suggestions, and to actually listen. Grant, Woodholls, Aylesbury is an estate agent that bucks the trend I'm happy to recommend them with no reservations.

Refuses to answer the phone

Refuses to answer the phone. As a landlord I have not been paid since December last year. No answer to phone calls or emails. Absolutely furious so this will now occur against every single review site I can find. Absolutely useless as estate agents looking after properties.

Brilliant service from Woodholls estate agents! I dealt with both Ross & Grant who handled the let of our rental property in Kensington and they have been fantastic. After having issues with a previous tenant and a different estate agent we were very cautious about working with another estate agent to find a suitable tenant. However Woodholls done everything right which made the whole process stress free. They got things up and running very quickly and after a short time they sourced a wonderful tenant. Ross was always able to provide professional advice and suggestions which we took on board and Grant certainly accommodated our needs! Why did we go with Woodholls to sell our property? Grant was the only one of the Estate Agents who came to see us who took their shoes off the moment he came through the door! He insisted! Plus, he immediately focused on what we wanted / what we were looking for / what we wanted to achieve. Not how marvellous a service they would provide and ‘look how many properties of this type’ they had sold. And the reality? I’m delighted that he took his shoes off. Woodholls, Woodholls, Woodholls! I have been renting houses for quite awhile and I’ve observed that there are only a few agents that can conduct business in a professional manner. Woodholls agents are extremely outstanding in such category and it's worth while doing business with. Back track a bit, my wife and I migrated to the UK from Jamaica and needed an apartment to rent. I don’t quite remember how my wife came to know Woodholls; however, I am glad she did! Through Woodholls we rented an apartment. They provided us with all the important information and made the transition from migrating to the UK so easy. We were welcome not only by Grant’s kindness and professionalism but also, his patience as our flight was delayed and it was a Sunday. Nevertheless, he took us to our new apartment and ensure we were satisfied before he left. Since then Ross and Grant kept a close relationship, ensuring we were ok. We could ask just about any question and they would respond or assist in a timely manner. Six months after, we decided we needed somewhere which is more convenient in terms of personal space and so, we contacted Woodholls. After couple views, they found us a beautiful, spacious house in a lovely neighbourhood that suits our needs. Again, the transition was smooth and they remained professional as they sorted out everything that was required. Grant even helped us to move!! My wife mainly does the communicating with Woodholls and she said that there is never a time she tried communicating with Woodholls and did not get a response in a timely manner, even on weekends. To sum it all up; these guys are professional, helpful, kind hearted, very pleasant, dedicated, honest etc. 100% recommendation. We love our new home, but if we should move again, Woodholls is our only choice. Thanks for all the support! We truly appreciate it, keep up the good work!

I contacted Woodholls having received a letter from them about their new business. I spoke to Grant who was incredibly helpful! This is the first time I am selling a house so not sure what to expect. I've had some poor experiences with typical estate agent in the past when finally received highly professional standards from Woodhollls and Ross in particular giving help and guidance throughout the transaction process. The service I've received was excellent from start to finish. Ross and Grant were always helpful and always replied to my queries in good time. They've done more than probably was necessary to take as much of the stress and worry out of it for me. Nothing was too much trouble for them even that little bit of extra chasing when the solicitors seemed to be dragging their heels.
