FacebookDanielle was sensitive and not pushy from the start of me looking at a property to purchase, as I made her aware this was due to a relationship ending. The additional stress that can cause was appreciated. I then had some other difficulties in relation to an environmental search, which later appeared erroneous. Danielle kept in contact throughout and I was able to communicate freely with her, also asking extra questions that were never too much trouble. This was by email and phone and often she replied at much later than office hours. Very responsive, efficient, caring, professional and the most personable estate agents I've known. Also her colleague Portia when I arranged a second viewing of my now happily purchased property! I really would recommend Modern Move Estate Agents as a 100% caring and genuine company to buy a property through 👍

FacebookFriendly and helpful from the beginning, but what set them apart from other agents we have used in the past was the lengths Danielle and Portia went to to push our sale through - issues with the bottom end of our sale so not their remit, but managed to find information and relay to us far quicker than our solicitors! Thoroughly recommend.

GoogleWe sold our house in Ivybridge with Portia and Danielle, and we were very pleased with them. They gave a really personal service, and made a greater effort than the big chain agents. The description they came up with for our house was not full of the the usual tired old cliches, but instead gave a really good description of the features of the house, both the obvious and the not-so-obvious. They charge a sensible 0.8% fee, which makes a huge difference in the end, and makes them competitive with the online-only agents, once you factor in the high level of personal service. We have moved house many times, and used both the large nationwide chains and the no-frills online-only firms, and if we move again, we will go with Modern Move. Unless you have the kind of house which will just sell itself, the extra effort they put in makes them well worth it.
