I have been working with George Ellis for over 7 years now, and I can honestly say that they are the most professional, experience and approachable team that I have had the pleasure working with.
GE have shown me that they pride themselves with the highest standards in tenant vetting and referencing.
No shortcuts are taken while providing the service.
A FULL Complete and thorough vetting and background checks is the reason why I have been working with GS this long a period.
In addition to the service provided, the complete checks have been completed within 3/5 days, providing all the relevant paper work have been returned back by the perspective tenant within the required time stipulated by GE.
While’s undergoing the checks, I have always been kept updated\informed of the progress via either email, or phone calls.

We are disappointed to learn of your views. However, we have looked back on our records at the time that you have placed this review and we can see no evidence of anyone of your name being one of our tenants.
Before the Tenant Fee Act 2019, all agents could deduct fees as their terms and conditions of business, which would have also been reflected in our tenancy agreement. Our tenant referencing terms have always been clear and we advise all prospective tenants to read information we provide, before completing and submitting an application and paying any fee. If you were a tenant of ours, all of the fees would have been transparent to you, in writing, before you had decided to take occupancy of any of our properties. We have clear property check-out procedures, which would have been sent to any tenant prior to their agreed check-out date. Our policy for lost keys has always meant there has been a charge. In respect of withholding any deposit unlawfully, it is not possible to do since the introduction of the Tenant Deposit Act 2007. If any agent chooses to do so tenants have recourse, quite rightly, to complain.
We have long been members of (TPO) The Property Ombudsman (before it became law), (ARLA) Association of Residential Letting Agents and (NAEA) National Association of Estate Agents - which all have independent complaint procedures, which all members must adhere to. In addition to this, we have (CMP) Client Money Protection in place, which means all money is ring fenced.
