GoogleOverall we were very disappointed by Painter's performance. They started well, produced excellent marketing material and only brought viewers who were interested and in a position to buy. I did insist on a higher price than they suggested, and was vindicated by the sale price. It was the back office communication after a sale was agreed that really let them down. There was a long chain, but I got more info on progress from the agent I was buying from than this one I was actually paying. When they did bother to communicate the info was incorrect, they just passed on what they were told without checking it at all. Our formal complaint to them was just dismissed, they have a very arrogant attitude. I am 70, have moved over 10 times and this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would not recommend and I would not use again.

In particular Liam Moore and Vanessa, who I dealt with were extremely unprofessional, rude and completely lacking in any humanity.

I called their office, left a voice mail and they didn’t return my call even though the office was open because I passed later in the day and popped in. The lady did apologise but insinuated it was my fault because I booked the viewing approx. 4 weeks earlier. Still no call from Liam to this day.

GoogleI really don't post many comments on Google but my wife and I feel so upset with this Estate Agent.
My wife & I travelled to Broadstairs on Saturday 18th July to view a flat for sale. when we arrived, the agent lead us to the entrance of a building far left of centre according to the photograph which they had posted on their site. In short, this was, in our opinion "misleading" marketing. We assumed that by the photograph, that we were going to view the first floor apartment in the centre of the picture which featured a balcony.
When I expressed my disappointment to the agent, he simply ignored my comments.
As this property was the only one we had planned to view on this date, we felt we had wasted our time and money, travelling a distance of approx' 140 miles!!
Having discovered that Terence Painter had most of the properties within our price range, I made further enquires on two other properties on Monday 20th, (two days later). Both of which were not under offer at the time.
However, in spite of my telephone calls an one e-mail to arrange viewings for yesterday, 25th, my calls and e-mails, were ignored.
In spite of this, I persisted in my efforts to arrange the bookings, only to find out that our favoured property went under offer on Thursday, 3 days after my request to view!!!
Not only were we deprived of the viewing, I think that the vendor(s) may have been improvised; They now will never know if they could have had a better offer on their property.,
On Friday 24th, I eventually received a call from the manager of the agent, regarding a viewing on the other property, which I had enquired about.
Because I had experienced such poor, discourteous, rude and totally unprofessional service, from one particular member of his team, I told him that we would not, in any way be doing business with his company in future.
Please avoid this agent if possible.

GoogleI had a number of valuations of which at the beginning Terence Painter were the lowest. After a few months I realised that infact it was the only honest valuation. They don't over value just to get you on their books, they are confident enough to be honest. Everyone there is very really lovely pictures and description by far the best, they are super efficient when booking appointments and giving feedback . I can't recommend them enough.
