TrustpilotHarassing me with phone calls when iv asked them to stop more than once
I asked fox and sons to come a do a valuation of my late father’s property. I have then been phoned 20times since asking if they can put the property on the market for me. I asked them politely to not phone me any more as it’s on the market with a different estate agent and to take my details of the system. They said they would I have since then received 5 other phone calls from them and each time been told they will take my of the the system. I have had three calls since and each time I have asked not to be phoned and they keep phoning me. It’s getting to the point of harassment now. I would stay clear. They clearly don’t listen to peoples wishes and feel it’s ok to continue to phone someone when they have been asked not to. If only they put the same amount of effort into selling a property ( they had my old house on the market two years and had about three people for viewings.

TrustpilotTerrible service, avoid!
Terrible service, would not recommend. Would give zero stars if I could! There was no feedback following viewings, zero communication or market updates, and I had to point out listing errors multiple times (including the lease length being incorrectly shown as zero years!). I only received a brief, non-committal apology. I’ve now withdrawn the property. I wish I’d gone with an independent originally, someone who actually cares.

TrustpilotContinuously hassled even after asking multiple times not to be
The estate agent that came to value my property needed more customer experience. He asked very intrusive questions, was rude about other estate agents valuations, was very pushy and I felt I had to be firm when I said I am only wanting a second opinion, not for them to market my property. I asked not to be contacted by them and I would be in touch if I needed their services. In the weeks following, the decision was made for me not to use them as I was contacted via telephone at least twice a week, pushing me to put it on the market with them when all I’d asked for is a valuation. When I asked multiple times to be taken off their contact list, the message clearly didn’t get through as I was contacted a further three times after this. No voicemails were left - just missed calls from an unknown number.

TrustpilotI would give 0 if I could
⁷I would give 0 if I could. Terrible experience with fox&sons London Road Brighton. We had our house advertised with them for bearly 6 months. We had 3 viewings & 10 cancellations, however, when you looked, they claimed we had 13 viewing. Our biggest mistake was to go with them. Totally unprofessional photos. We changed the agent and within a week we had 4 viewing & one offer!! Additionally, when we left this agent, they carried on advertising our house without our permission with a new price!! Dispute both written & verbal communications! Totally unprofessional. We should have read the reviews and avoided them at all cost!! So far we have had 2 offers and might have the final offer soon.

TrustpilotLies, cover ups & misuse of my data!
My experience with Fox & Sons Peacehaven has been appalling, and I would not trust them with the purchase or sale of a property again.

TrustpilotNatasha is the worst
Natasha is the worst. She told us a bunch of false information when moving in (she said it comes with parking but didn’t and ended up costing us £10 per day extra) and she is super rude.

TrustpilotAwful mortgage advising service
Booked an appointment with one of their mortgage advisers, a lot of info i did not need to know that the company has x branches and have done x money on mortgages, just to be cancel on the second appointment. Got back to me after 4months saying he would help me that time, after a couple exchanges no more correspondence ive no idea whats going on. Meanwhile was contacted by another mortgage adviser she said to give her a change she’s different from her colleague. First appointment same things, second appointment a no show. Whats wrong with you people? Unbelievable. At least have the decency to cancel the appointment, i got out of work for the appointment waited 1h, even emailed and nothing.

TrustpilotAbsolutely disgusted at the way this…
Absolutely disgusted at the way this company treated my son and his fiance. They had put a holding deposit on a flat and through no fault of theirs the landlady withdrew the flat and Fox and Sons refused to give them back their holding deposit. They could not afford to lose that money.

Trustpilotdisinterested and inexperienced
Initial contact with the company seemed ok receiving emails and texts for the upcoming valuation. However the RE agent seemed inexperienced totally disinterested, didn't seem to have much idea about valuing a property other than going on line to look at other properties in the area - something I'd already done. Worst of all she never followed through with providing the valuation information as part of the follow up. I would definitely not use Fox & sons to sell my property given this experience.

Finally in my flat thanks to Shayla. She has been amazing & was totally on top of everything despite the lousy solicitors & me hounding her all the time. Thank you Shayla & the rest of the team, you are all stars 🌟

TrustpilotNever touch these people with a barge…
Never touch these people with a barge pole! I’ve never in my life had such a bad experience with an estate agent and that’s saying something! Major pressure tactics to get you to spend more, refusal to return deposit, which thankfully they are so dodgy that tgey do not have a bank account and you need to pay by card! Always remember you can do a charge bsck bua your bank and you get your money back! The excuses I heard to hold onto your money! I think this may be hiw these guys get paid! Anyway rubbish service, rubbish people and steer well clear of these cowboys! Sequence homes are part of this group so steer clear of them as well.

TrustpilotUnprofessional Demeanor
The Crawley team, particularly Branch Manager Kane Caulfield, displayed unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful behavior. They wasted our time by not responding promptly to our inquiries, forcing us to follow up continuously for weeks, both regarding our initial offer and when the property came back on the market. When we decided not to proceed with the offer, Kane Caulfield began speaking to us in a rude and unprofessional manner. We kindly request that take appropriate action regarding the Branch Manager's behavior.

TrustpilotExtremely poor contact
Impossible to get a hold of them by phone or email. Couldn't get them to contact the potential landlord to sign the tenancy agreement until 7 days after the agreed move in date at which point tried to increase the rent from £1000pcm to £1300pcm. I didn't accept it and tried contacting them for over 2 months to return my deposit and they only started replying to my emails after I threatened legal action if they didn't return my deposit. Still waited until the day before I said I would take action before returning my money. I wouldn't ever look at a house managed by this company ever again and I should have called everything off once I saw how difficult it was to get replies even before signing anything

TrustpilotFox and Sons Peacehaven
Slammed the phone down on my father when he was enquiring about a Peacehaven bungalow and was asked if his property was on the market. When he said "Not yet" the agent simply hung up. Serious buyer turned away by this agency. Would reconsider if you are thinking of listing your property with them.

TrustpilotSimply the best.
I had 8 different local estate agents come to value my house. All except Fox & Sons valued it by comparing it with properties that bore little resemblance to mine. The Fox & Sons valuer actually looked at the property properly and valued it accordingly. It sold within 5 days of going on the market for £16,000 more than the others had valued it. We have just completed.

I have dealt with a few letting agents over the years and I must say, Fox And Sons rate very highly for me.The application process went very smoothly, with constant communication and updates throughout, particular kudos to Oskar who has been my main point of contact throughout,All that you ask for during a process like this is to be kept in the loop, something that Oskar and his team have managed very well.Thankyou

TrustpilotFox and Sons Hove - No Integrity
Avoid Fox and Sons, Hove branch. They have very little integrity. After we removed their instructions, they sent a 'sour grapes' bill for something they had offered to pay for. Paying is not the problem if it was rightfully billed, but when we asked for an explanation of the invoice, none was provided just continued harassment for payment. Very poor form, wasting both my time and theirs for what appears to be a petty revenge for leaving them. Once the initial sales patter had been executed, they also exhibited a lack lustre standard of service, providing no updates or feedback, interactions with some even felt slightly rude and offhand. Experiences with other Hove agents, so far 10 times better.

TrustpilotI've just completed a complex purchase…
I've just completed a complex purchase through Fox & Sons Rottingdean, and could not be happier with the service. Alex in particular was conscientious about keeping me up-to-date throughout, and reassured the vendors that the finance would come through in time for their own purchase deadline. The other staff, in particular Alison, were warm and very helpful. And when I got the keys yesterday, it was very touching to find the vendors had left me a lovely card wishing me happiness in the flat, and two bottles of wine to celebrate! Thanks, Alex, you were ace!

TrustpilotExceptional service, Yushin was brilliant!
We received exceptional service from Fox & Sons. Our agent Yushin was brilliant. He found some really nice properties matching our criteria that we hadn’t noticed ourselves, and he booked us in to view them within a couple of days. He offered great service, info, and knowledge during the viewings and followed up quickly with answers to our questions afterwards.

TrustpilotLacking in customer service for neurodiversity
I've recently started looking for a property to buy. Being neurodivergent, I have requested all correspondence be via email from all letting agents, so i can orgabise and manage a very overwhelming process. Unfortunately, Fox and Sons (brighton) seemed to have an issue with this and even so I repeatedly requested email correspondence, I was told that 'phone calls would be easier for both of us'.

TrustpilotThe Esperance viewing
Lauren showed me around The Esperance. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions to a high level and gave me a good understanding on the points I wanted to know. She also pointed out and took me to visit nearby similar properties for comparison and other options. Very helpful and thank you!

TrustpilotHarassment!
Stupidly agreed to a free valuation with no pressure however after deciding we wouldn’t be selling for a while and telling them that, I’ve had call after call from both the Crawley office and another local office. I emailed them to ask that my details be removed from their systems which was acknowledged however the calls continued.

TrustpilotArranged viewing
Arranged viewing, it was raining, we got early but that’s our problem. Then a minute before the arranged time a young guy got out of the car parked right in front of us. He’s from Fox & Sons. He’s been waiting in his car whole time knowing we were waiting outside the property in the rain. He could’ve said like, sorry we can’t show till the arranged time then we’d walk back to our car and wait.
