Trying to talk to someone is just ridiculous. No one can do anything and always passes to another person which leads to waiting for a callback that never happens. I called 8 times yesterday hit voicemail each time, was only calling as again the call I was promised didn’t happen.Very happy to be changing to working with another estate agent.

My original contract was with Thurman & Rye and was acquisitioned by Hunters part way through, but the staff remained the same. They had two flats to sell, so I offered them 3% if they sold both flats within the standard contract period as an incentive to market the properties. They didn’t market or sell a single flat. They just sat there and hoped for RightMove to create the footfall.Worse still was the brochuring of the properties, they couldn’t spell, got the wrong specs and they couldn’t draw the floor plans properly. Loads of promises and assurances from the start etc, but proved to be a load of hot air and horse.

GoogleWe were promised we got a house through the rental side of hunters so we handed our notice in at the current property, to then find our application didn't go through because they based it on partners last year's earnings in which he didn't earn much, got a guarantor who had savings to also be declined even though we have well over enough earnings now and offered proof via bank statements. We have 2 weeks to find somewhere to live now with a child and they don't care at all, their reply were " we didn't ask you to hand your notice in" absolutely disgusting will NEVER use these again and poor communication skills between staff. They have caused a lot of stress and upset i am very very disattisfied and will be reporting this further

GoogleCompleted my purchase of a property through Hunters in Bridlington. Communication with the office was excellent. Friendly, polite professional staff who seemed to care and were happy to help deal with problems. They were on the ball with communicating with solicitors and sellers, taking some of the stress out of the legal proceedings. If only the paid solicitors had the same ethos it would make moving house not as daunting. 5 stars for Dianne. She is a credit to the company.

DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENT. On the 18.10.2018 I was appointed to see an apartment at 41 Mill West, Sowerby Bridge, HX6 3JH. (I hope the landlord is reading this)We agreed a time of 16:45 but due to traffic my sat nav advised I would be eleven minutes late. I called the office at 16:25 and after a few minutes of waiting for somebody to answer the telephone I was greeted. I advised the lady I was running late by eleven minutes and was told the agent showing me around cannot wait for me because she finishes at 5pm. I asked why would it be booked with only 15 minutes to spare for viewing and the reply I received from a manager at hunters was “you only get five minutes to view the property. The manager I had the displeasure of conversing with was named Nicola Thompson. She is rude, cocky and full of self importance with no regard for customer service or a potential tennents interest or the landlord of the property who contributes to her salary. I feel I had a lucky escape. I hope her superiors read this as well as the landlord who owns the property I was going to view. She needs to enroll in a customer service role and soon, personally I’d fire her but unfortunately this is what happens when you allow the inexperienced and possibly inadequate into a junior management role. I will post on every review site I can because of this women’s attitude with the hope her bosses react and teach her how to behave towards potential and existing customers.

TrustpilotI can't complain about these letting agents as I signed an agreement not too so that we could get some of our deposit back...
I can't tell you about my experience with a recent let as the only way I could get our deposit back was to agree not to complain about any aspect of the tenancy or the process of charges negotiation. I can tell you to be very careful about using this letting agent. They issue a notice to quit towards the end of each assured short hold tenancy rather than let the tenancy run-on so that they can raise the rent, knowing you are in situ and charge new fees for the tenancy agreement. Scrutinise your inventory and the check-out report in detail. Do not suggest you have any cause for complaint.

Hunters, Bridlington very poor. As a potential purchaser you ring them to ask basic questions about properties on their books, like 'how long is lease, how much is maintenance fee?' Etc. Not only do they not know answer, they don't bother getting back to you. Email them with queries via rightmove...they don't get back to you. Tell them you're interested in various properties and are cash buyer....they don't get back. As a seller i wouldn't waste my money and would opt for much cheaper, more efficient internet agent

We had so many issues in our rented property and they never came and sorted them due to this we moved out. We had left our house in a very clean state and only the problems we had when we moved in had been left they tried to take our full bond off us and more. They are horrific and I wouldn’t recommend using them and I certainly won’t be ever again.

GoogleSold my house through Hunters when a previous agency could not. All staff gave great communication. Lily even gave up her own time to offer the viewing that sold us the property. Well recommended.

I made enquiries about a house for sale in grimsby , and received a basic could not care less email , it did not answer my question, and hastened to add they have no properties in the price range ,I WONDER WHY????very poor customer service , never again with grimsby branch . They could not even find time to put my name on emails. Thats twice in 6 months they have failed .

People be alert avoid at all cost like covid. Do not deal with the bradford shipley branch previously Bentleys. Dishonest timewasters that just do not care. They lie and cheat to impress for their own gain. Mis advice vendors to sell to buyers who are friends/associates. Dont waste your time and emotions I did. Wish I and vendors had checked the previous reviews would not have wasted time and money.
