Two years ago, when I moved out of one of their houses, I had to pay a special cleaning team to clean the oven. I sent them pictures of how the oven looked before I moved in and how it looks now, 10 times cleaner than it was. I had to pay anyway. I asked for a bill from the cleaning team because I wanted to check if they had robbed me, I'm still waiting for the bill. I do not recommend it.

The property was very nice. Preparation was good enough. Maintenance and problem solving were acceptable. Finish off tenancy wasn't great. Tried to put me in 2 months' notice against the contract. Challanged 35% of my deposit, way too much.

Really quite terrible. I had a rental with them. At one point they entered my house when I wasn't home, without my permission or any notice which is actually illegal. They got nasty on the phone when I argued with them about not being able to fix my front door lock for 3 days, leaving me with an unlocked house for that entire period. The windows in the property were so outdated that wind came through the cracks, I told them repeatedly about it but they conveniently left it for an entire winter period before sending someone to look at them. The repair man confirmed the windows to be years out of date and practically unfixable. After leaving property they are trying to take most of my deposit by charging me to clean the kitchen, which has currently been ripped out and is outside the house in a skip, paying for hooks to be taken out of the walls which were already there when I moved in, and carpets which are over 10 years old. 100% would not recommend.

Clear staffing issues and appear to be completely uninterested in selling properties. Friendly enough face to face and keen to get me on board, but after that was terrible. The photos were awful, I had to send in my own and ask them to change them multiple times. Told there were some "enquiries" though Rightmove, but no details about what these were. Seem to rely on Rightmove only for property interest? Minimal contact, poor feedback after viewings, and had to chase them multiple times to get my queries answered. When I said I wanted to take my property off the market with them, there was no interaction/ interest in why this was, just a standard letter attached to an email with no notes, no " talk to us about why this is" etc. feeling very disappointed and undervalued as a customer.

The worst letting agents! We've been let down right from day one and if we knew what we do now, we would have done things a whole lot differently! Still waiting for a phonecall back from Julie and we're nearly 2 months on! They have been rude on more than one occasion, only phone when they want money out of us, we have paid for a service which hasn't been fulfilled, still being charged for council tax and the tenants moved in April! Failed to take water meter readings as promised. As a new landlord absolutely nothing has been explained to us nor any advice given. Outside tap used then phoned us to say that it was leaking and "they" could get someone in to fix, failed to notice that it hadn't been turned off correctly. An utter shambles, money grabbing! Not on the side of the landlord whatsoever! Stay clear!

Selling a home on behalf of an elderly relative comes with many stresses. Sou was superb, to say the least, going above and beyond repeatedly to help. She understood the complexity of the situation and went out of her way to make the process as easy and as stress free as I could have wished for. As I also didn't live locally to the property, Sou ensured the viewings, were fully taken care of. She provided updates, advice and support in the offer stages, and the house was sold in under a month. Even after the SSTC stage, Sou helped me arrange for access for surveys and trades, etc. Never failing to be the first to update me, ahead of the instructed solicitors. The whole Tamlyns team are professional, yet fully engaged in making the process as smooth as possible. I would not hesitate in recommending Sou and the Tamlyns team for a house sale/ purchase. I have just used the services of Tamlyns in Bridgwater to let a property and I have been extremely impressed with the service provided. Alice Hale has been the ultimate professional, responding swiftly and courteously with each and every request I made, including out of hours support when I snapped the key in the door whilst moving in! Alice understood the urgency that I needed to move into the property and she moved swiftly to make this happen, keeping me updated each and every step of the way. I am truly grateful for her professionalism and diligence . Claudia was also of great assistance when Alice was out of the office . Very helpful and friendly service from the Sales Team, Mark and Dan, at Tamlyns. They conducted a number of viewings of my Mum’s property, and then secured a sale. We were kept informed throughout, as was our conveyancer, and the sale went through very smoothly. Mark and Dan were always happy to help with any queries, no matter how small, and were also happy to liaise with the buyers on our behalf regarding which fixtures and fittings could be left in the house. Not impressed with Tamlyns at all. Is Dan the only one who ever answers the phone? He made an appointment for a market appraisal one day and didn't show up or even phone. I phoned to complain the next day, he answered, said he would come later that day. Appointment was kept but the promised email 'by Monday' has still not turned up (and it is now Thursday). Definitely would not use them again for anything.

Tamlins fail to treat damp and mould. Both of these can be life threatening. You can sue your landlord and tamlyns for failure to comply with their basic duty. The law is on your side. They are obliged to re-home you or compensate you. The manager of tamlyns must be honest with you... no always the case. Record all conversations with her and the company as they have a knack of back tracking. Their grasp of the legal process is sketch at best. THE HOUSING LAW IS ON YOUR SIDE! Please don't feel threatened by them.

Tamlyns, A* 3 Bedroom Semi-detached house (Bridgwater) In total 3 estate agents provided me with a valuation of my property. I followed the recommended guidance and had two Highstreet estate agents and one online vendor, provide me with an estimate. Although Tamlyns were the final company to provided me with a valuation for my property, they estimated my property to be worth £25K more than the previous assessments. I posed the following question to (Mark) my estate agent, why is your valuation so much higher than the others? He responded with absolute confidence and supported his answer with facts and figures regarding house sales in the area. He spoke about the effects of both under valuations an overestimate of the property’s potential asking price. Although incredibly confident in his trade, Mark was never arrogant, he simply stated ‘It is my job to get you the best asking price I can, and I remain hopeful I can achieve the top price in line with what other houses are selling for in Bridgwater. Being a percentage man, I asked Mark how confident he was he could achieve the asking price of £220K, he responded 85%! We shook hands and he left me with some parting advice regarding kerb appeal and hints and tips for viewings. Day one of being on the market and we received 4 viewings, resulting in two offers for the full asking price. 9 weeks and 5 days later we had completed our sale. I would not hesitate to recommend Tamlyns, in particular (Mark)PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
