Elle has been incredibly helpful in facilitating the letting of my property. After a tenant dropped out at the last minute, Elle had it back in the market within a day and let by the end of the following working day! She has really taken the stress out of the process and I am grateful for her strong communication skills - even when there was nothing update, she has let me know, which I found really useful (rather than just wondering what was going on). I look forward to continuing to work with Elle and for her taking away the stress of renting the property out!

I would like to make a positive observation about a member of staff at the Brentwood branch. I recently had a tenant with an issue within my property, which i was not able to attend as i do not live locally. Whilst awaiting a contractor, Elle from the local branch was the first person who was able to get to my property and assist the tenant with a burst tap which was extensively flooding our flat. Elle went above and beyond in assisting the tenant, and also contacted some of her family members to assist in cutting off the water, as the contractor was a few hours in attending. Between Elle and the others, they managed to contain the situation until the contractor arrived. I would like to pass on my thanks to Elle, as i know she is solely responsible for the Lettings department in Brentwood, and is very busy, and I am thankful for her help with a stressful matter, and liaising with both myself and the tenant. Thank you.

The purchase took around 4 months to complete, and Ashleigh was by far the best part of the experience. My wife and I just got our first rented apartment in the UK (Brentwood) courtesy of the excellent facilitation by Morgan Rooke and her team, on behalf of the William H. Brown Estate Agency. Morgan Rooke and Jack Summer were fact-based, demonstrated professionalism, respect, a high sense of urgency and empathy in their dealings with us. It is amazing to see that we relocated to the UK in April, and had our accommodation sorted (courtesy Morgan Rooke), within three weeks of reaching out to William H Brown. This rented apartment is an apartment of choice, central to our children’s schools and other facilities of interest. Beyond the successful facilitation and delivery of this choice apartment in record time, this outstanding and amazing team also introduced and profiled us with other options/opportunities to own a house in Brentwood. PLEASE STEER WELL CLEAR!!

Poor communication, false promises from sales, lettings and mortgage services. Started off great but once they've had your money they don't care about resolving any issues. Don't bother with the lifetime membership as you'll have to do all the work yourself. Don't bother with management services for letting a property either, they won't tell you about any problems and they'll let your tenants damage your property and steal from you without any reconciliation measures or compensation. I sold my flat over a year ago and I'm still battling with them and the Zero Deposit scheme to compensate me for my property being stolen and damage that I paid to fix for the new owner out of my own pocket. PLEASE STEER CLEAR, SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE!!

As a tenant this is the worst rental agency I've ever dealt with - expected more from such a big name

As a tenant this is the worst rental agent I've ever dealt with. 1) Difficult to get in touch with - they hardly ever answer the phone. 2) The property was dirty when we moved in, no inventory provided. 3) The property was managed by Sequence Ltd who have provided a very disappointing service - early on we were told (via a phone call and after several weeks of us asking) to arrange for repair of a maintenance issue ourselves and that this could be deducted off our rent afterwards, and that the landlord had instructed this. We never received the refund, they said because they didn't have records of that instruction. Several staff members had started then left during our tenancy which didn't help (we were there for 6 months). 4) We are now having to contact Tenancy Deposit Scheme to get our deposit back relating to a different issue, mostly due to our inadequate landlord who it seems is trying to claim a random amount of money anywhere he might get away with it (we left the property in a cleaner state than when we arrived to try to avoid any possible excuses for deduction from deposit). Sequence Ltd doesn't appear to know about or be bothered about the law and tenant's rights.

The service and support we received at William H Brown was so amazing, it’s difficult to know where to even start from. If you are currently house hunting, we can’t recommend their service highly enough. This review may come across as quite emotional, because it is! We’d like to say a HUGE thank you to Morgan and Jack for all their help. They were so patient with us throughout the whole process. They were professional every step of the way but human at the same time, showing us compassion and care and never getting fed up of our 101 questions. Morgan and Jack really went above and beyond for us, and got us settled in to the apartment of our dreams. The flat is WONDERFUL! When it comes to getting your house sold, we highly recommend you call William H Brown - Brentwood first! Tara, Lisa and Ashleigh were superb throughout the whole process. Tara and Lisa seemlessly took care of all the initial bits with the listing and marketing the property and Ashleigh did a marvellous job arranging all the viewings and taking viewers around the property. The three of them who we had direct interaction with have done an amazing job getting us to the exchange and completion and also the team who worked behind the scenes ensuring the sale went through smoothly. I would not trust these people

I would not trust these people, I emailed them to arrange a viewing on a tenanted property, no contact, after a couple of days I called them to arrange a viewing for same property, straight away the sales person tried steering me to another property instead, but I held firm, they said they would get back to me with an appointment, they never did, it’s now sold. They have preferred investors waiting in the background, other sectors would not get away with it.

Nothing but praise for William H Brown in Brentwood, especially their lovely Mortgage Consultant Leah Downes. Even though we have bought our house through a different estate agent, it was an obvious choice to stick with Leah as our mortgage advisor. I cannot praise Leah enough.
