GoogleWe had a rental property in Clayton and we used the Letting's Manager at Whitney's to find tenants for the property. Thankfully we have now sold the property but I would like the say that the Letting's Manager had treated the property as if it was her own. She had a relative of someone who already rented a property through Whitney's who wanted our property and so she did her a favour and suggested this couple to us as the best option even though their salary didn't stack up for the rent. The Letting's Manager said she would get a guarantor in place. When the tenant stop paying she had not arrange for the guarantor to be in place leaving us exposed.
We gave her a second chance and on our last tenant before we sold it the Letting's Manager allowed the new tenant to move in before the start of tenancy. What is going on! The Letting's Manager didn't want to know that if anything had happened to property we wouldn't be insured! If I were you I would think twice about using the Whitney as even though you pay them they appear to more on the tenants side.

GoogleHad a few interactions now with Alyssa from Whitney’s and I have found her to be ‘off’ in her manner. Not helpful when questions are asked about property’s I’ve viewed and it just seems like she just doesn’t want to be there. There’s being direct and then there’s just rude and she is the latter in my view. Could do with some basic customer service training. I don’t usually leave reviews but this staff member has consistently been miserable to deal with. Doesn’t smile and gives off a vibe that I really don’t want to deal with. Such a shame because I have spoken to someone called Jasmine from the office who has been really pleasant, cheerful and polite. Honestly these experiences with that one woman have put me off buying a property from Whitney’s or using them to sell mine just because it seems like she is the one I’d have to deal with seeing as though she seems to be the only one showing properties. Frustratingly for me, I keep seeing houses that they are marketing which suit my requirements.
