I've had a working relationship with Gordon Barker for over two years now. We first used them to buy a two bedroom house in the local area. They found us a nice property in the right area and the purchase went through smoothly. Because of this we decided to use their full management package when we rented it out. Having never been involved in the rental market they guided me through the whole process and very quickly found me a suitable tenant. Fantastic service was provided by them, I really can't fault their full management package, I've had no lost sleep! Recently through work we have had to sell this property and move away. They again helped us find through right person to buy the property and have kept us up to date through the whole process. I thoroughly recommend Gordon Barker for all your buying, selling and renting needs. Every single member of the staff are friendly and helpful and have always made me feel welcome when visiting the shop. Thanks goes to all of you.

We can’t fault Gordon Barker, they are by far the BEST agency we’ve been with and after almost 2 years, we’re genuinely really sad to have recently left them. We’ve rented from other companies in the past and have had nothing but trouble and game playing - Gordon Barker have always gone the extra mile in making sure we were happy - any little thing that needed attending to was dealt with promptly, fairly and professionally. Everyone we’ve ever spoken to from Gordon Barker have been lovely but especially Debbie, Darren and Aaron! Brilliant team. I would love to say that buying and selling property is a breeze. But it's not, it's stressful. Really stressful. But the team at Gordon Barker were absolutely incredible. Initial phone call was very warm and agent was friendly but that was about all that was good about my experience with this agency. Got a call to say the agent was running 10 mins late, which wasn't a problem, followed by a further 2 calls to say they'd be even later. Eventually agent arrived 40 minutes after the booked appointment, even the owner had arrived back home in that time. I specifically asked on the phone if the property had a private garden with no communal access which i was told it was 100% private and arrived to it having shared access directly through the garden (i didnt share my disappointment on the viewing) but i felt like id been given false information just to get a viewing booked. Its been over a week since the viewing and I've received no communication or follow-up. I couldn't email back to the booking confirmation as it said it was a no reply email. Wouldn't be choosing this agent if you want your house sold.

We were naive landlords and initially thought a high profile company would be our best bet. How wrong can you be, they were all brochure and hopeless. I then googled for the top three agents in Bournemouth and Gordon Barker stood out as the best of the best. We moved to them 4 years ago and cannot recommend them enough. Best letting agency in the area! If we ever have to move again 100% we would stay with Gordon Barker. The whole team is just genuinely nice, we never had such a good experience with any other letting agency. We always only felt treated as annoying customers, while we feel like Gordon Barker just genuinely cares about their properties and the wellbeing of their tenants. We had their help from day 1 and while renting with them we always had any small or urgent issues dealt with very quickly by either the wonderful staff or really nice contractors. Aaron went above and beyond, and even helped us with our forward purchase, he was always on hand 24/7 if we needed him for anything. A very modern day estate agents! Zoe is so lovely!
