He’s been an absolute star, communicating with me and my partner the whole way through, very understanding and supportive. Took the time to explain things in a way that didn’t make us feel silly.
We initially found out we didn’t get the apartment we wanted at first, James was respectful enough to tell us, and send us alternatives…at the last minute the original tenant dropped out and James had the courtesy to call us straight away and ask us if we were still interested!
We went from not knowing it was available to moving in, in less than a week!
Without his diligence and understanding I don’t think I’d be able to type this from my own Kicthen!
I hope Longstaff see the character and integrity he brings to the business!

GoogleZero stars! As a tenant in a rental property, I was charged for jobs that I never got receipts for. Numerous repair jobs during tenancy that weren't related to wear and tear. Worst by far is the stuck up, miserable as sin, ultra-defensive, unsmiling personality-donor who seems to run the place. She claimed that gardening work was required, even though we raised the condition of it to them within a week of moving in. No updated inventory was ever provided. Upon leaving, the garden was in better condition in some places, it apparently still needed work. We were of course charged, but never saw a receipt, despite repeated requests. Do not trust them! I am a landlord myself, but would never use them. To be fair, 2 member of staff were excellent, but this one let the whole team down. Shame on Longstaff for allowing dishonesty, cheating and miserable staff to represent them!

GoogleThe staff in the Bourne team are warm, friendly and professional.
We were a little apprehensive as we were moving back to the area after letting a property away from Bourne, but as soon as we met Dawn we felt at ease and she was able to answer our questions and suggest other properties that may suit our needs and budget.
We then met Angie at our next viewing and again she was able to answer all of our questions and nothing was too much trouble!
We are now settled in to our home and have found Longstaff to be very responsive with any issues. Would highly recommend!

GoogleAfter having a very poor experience with another letting agent in Bourne, I had lost all faith in finding a home that we would be happy in.
We found a property that would suit us as a family, it was being let through Longstaff. I hadn't really come across them before so I made enquires and WOW! I was shown the property by the lovely Georgie and when we decided to go for it we sat down with Dawn, who is amazing, she made us feel at ease and talked us through everything so we knew exactly where we stood.

GoogleI have been a client of the Bourne office since 2011, both as a landlord and vendor as well as the Executrix of my late father's estate (his property is managed by the Bourne office), and the staff have always been very helpful, knowledgeable, accommodating and efficient. I have known Kit for more than 10 years having worked with him, and when he took over managing the Bourne office and I needed the services of an estate agency I had no hesitation in asking him to act for both myself and my father. The ladies in the office, Dawn and Angela, are always very supportive and if there are any issues that need addressing will deal with them in a professional and timely manner. I recommend this branch of Longstaff very highly.

Booked a viewing, arranged my day around that viewing only to be called less than two hours before the appointment to be told the landlord is only looking for very specific business activities. Cancelled the appointment. Well done on that, as if people have nothing better to do. Worse still, offered no form of apology for wasting my time and even had the front to ask if I could be kept on their mailing list, presumably to be messed around at a later date.
