GoogleSelling your home of 35 years is inevitably one of the most stressful things you can do in life. Thankfully the Bourne End branch of Andrew Milsom was recommended to us by friends who had used their services recently. The Milsom Team of Matt, Martine and Jane did not disappoint us. They worked diligently to find potential buyers and arrange viewings right from the start. They provided us with sound advice when there was a glitch further up the chain and were totally professional and supportive throughout the sale process. We would thoroughly recommend them.

GoogleAndrew Milsom lettings managed the rental property I rented for 18 months. They were professional, reasonable and so easy to deal with. They were really responsive and proactive in managing the property and smoothed away issues and problems. They were a wonderful buffer between the tenant and landlord. I thoroughly recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again, either as a tenant or a landlord. They’re a wonderful team.

GoogleDisgusted by conduct at the end of tenancy. When our years' tenancy was over, we were given Chloe Wells as our property manager to handle the check-out. We had spent a significant amount of time and money ensuring that we had left the flat as clean as we had recieved it, however after the independent check-out agent had noticed some minor scuffs on the walls and areas that we had missed (mainly in the oven), Chloe took it upon herself to hold executive authority over our deposit and order a complete blitz clean of the entire flat without even consulting or notifying us first. We were simply hit with a £400+ bill for work that was totally unnecessary. Naturally, we were shocked to have seen such blatant disregard for the way our money was throw away without our prior notification, and so I called Chloe Wells to discuss. Immediately, as soon as I gave my name and address, it became clear that Chloe assumed a hostile, defensive stance. With not even a "hello, how are you", Chloe proceeded to shoot down any attempt I made for open discussion and would not even entertain the idea. Evidently, as soon as customers leave Andrew Milsom, the staff consider it an unnecessary expense to speak with friendliness and respect. I find that the way I was spoken to reflects the message that people are only to be treated with civility when they are currently providing Andrew Milsom with revenue, and overall I see this as a very poor way to ensure repeat custom in the future. I ask Andrew Milsom and, specifically, Chloe Wells to reevaluate their demeaning and unprofessional behaviour when dealing with past clients. This experience will ensure that I avoid dealing with Andrew Milsom in the future, and hope that people reading this avoid the trap of the friendly team of staff who dismiss you as soon as you stop handing them money.
