We hadn’t had the best experiences with the large National estate agents around the Harrogate district and were hoping that by choosing a local privately owned estate agentcy we would find a gem. From walking into the office we were both filled with a warm glow that came from Tracey and the words she spoke. Unlike many before her she delivered the promise, she knew the market, priced it correctly ,and handled all enquiries professionally. Unprofessional and unhelpful. Went into the shop recently as I couldn't get through via phone, I presumed they were busy. The only staff member that was working that day was outside while the phone constantly rang and didn't attempt to answer it once in the whole time I was there. I was told that they would ring me to book me in to view 2 properties to then find out that viewings had taken place and nobody contacted me to book me in or even notify me that the properties had now been let. They completely lack professionalism as I made them aware that I have a baby and that I am proceedable to move straight away and they couldn't even be bothered to get in touch. Do not deal with this company.

I have rented my previous two properties through Craven Homes, and the entire team has been nothing short of helpful, friendly, professional and just amazing! Whenever I needed help with anything, the team were always so caring and ensured that I was well looked after, and in such an efficient manner! Gutted my new house isn't with them! I can't even pin point one individual because they've all been marvellous! I highly recommend Craven Homes for your next move. Sad to go, but forever grateful for you all! x

Use this place to rent a property at your peril. Operated by Tracey Wrigglesworth, she treats renters as second class citizens. Wrigglesworth rented me a shocking 1 bedroom flat for nearly 3 years. I had damp and mould throughout. It had a rat infestation, blocked toilet, blocked sink, leaking shower, soaking wet carpets, mouldy fridge, corroded and rotten cables, heavy condensation on every window which rusted all the metal blinds, affected my health with continuous coughing, and small black flying insects that thrive in damp conditions. Wrigglesworth wasn't interested in any of this, and deliberately caused unnecessary delays in having anything done about the situation. Infact, Wrigglesworth served me a Section 21 notice to vacate the property as it was in such a bad state of disrepair and uninhabitable. I was also in contact with the Environmental Health department at Harrogate Borough Council who were shocked at the conditions I was living in! Practically all my personal property including clothes were ruined and the landlord offered a paltry £250 compensation and even then, Wrigglesworth withheld the payment until I was forced to visit the landlord personally!

Think twice about using Craven-Holmes Estate Agents. This weekend, ive had a member of staff give out loads of my private information to a practical stranger!!! 6 months after moving out of a property they handle (terribly i might add)!! This person then went on to visit my former place of work as told by the woman from craven!?!.... THEN, asking for more of my personal details (which he wasn't given) in regards to some "unpaid bills" from my old residence, all of which are from the past 6 months i havent lived there. Then the day after i got a knock on my front door from the same man! The member of staff from Craven, i wont name names, had told this random person my new address and where i live!!! All of this knowing myself that there were no unpaid anything!!! That has been proved today when they spoke to the energy company(which they should have done in the first place before they started hunting me down for no reason). I cannot believe the amount of unprofessionalism and invasion of privacy and stress i have received from the estate agent who has refused to answer her phone or message me back regarding all of this. Me or my family and friends will be NOT be dealing with the company ever again. Citizens advise and IFO have been informed.
