GoogleI recently sold my house in Blackpool with Christie King. Despite the challenging market Zach was great to work with, making sure I was kept up to date through my Mum (I don't live locally) and willing to answer questions when they arose. I would happily use Christie King to buy/sell again in the future.

GoogleAlthough I've nothing personal against this letting agency - I don't agree with their new letting policy on viewing a property. To ask any customer to hand over all their sensitive and personal details even before a viewing just does NOT sound right. This is open to misuse and possible fraudulent activity. I fully understand asking for personal info when an application form is handed in but NOT to view a property. This is (in my own opinion) so very wrong. And the saying; we "value" your "privacy" - yes, I bet they do!!!! To the highest bidder!!!!!! I find the staff very friendly and polite. But they should now ease the blockade (which as sadly put in place during Covid) It was a massive overreaction in the office. Time to move on. But my issue is their viewings policy - it just doesn't sound right. Anyone in their right mind would NOT hand over their personal information just to view a property. And I am surprised this is legal. Maybe in time this office will move on from the Covid scaremongering. After saying that the staff are caring and polite. Thank you.

Property was priced correctly but not very pro-active at selling it! It was with them for 4 months over the spring/summer but they failed to sell a premium property after two price drops of about 10 k from initial valuation.Also when ringing and asking why so little viewings over summer months, was hit with sales patter and waffle to keep me on their books. Also tried rightmove upgrade (£72) total waste of money.They were polite ( although insincere) so reason for 2 stars, but left them eventually!

GoogleThe best estate agent in Blackpool. Bought through them and sold through them. Both times Oliver has been exceptional and has even been the most helpful in our purchase of a property that doesn’t even include them as an agent.

GoogleAbsolutely useless company. Had us in a rented house that was riddled with damp, we had to complain to the council about it to get it sorted. The electrics blew once because of the damp and the back of the house flooded. We had finally had enough and moved to a property we bought and years later we get a letter from a debt collectors for fees that had accumulated on the pre-pay electric meter in the months after we had vacated the property despite leaving it in credit when we moved out. Yet another slap in the face from this 'agency'. I'd never deal with this incompetent 'organisation' again and I would urge everyone else to avoid them too.
Hi Barry, Many thanks for the review. With regards to the state of the property, you are right there were a few issues in the house which does happen sometimes but at the time we'd found that the reason for 'damp' on the walls was due to the installation of cavity wall insulation to which eventually got resolved but after you'd left the property so can only apologise for this. With regards to the flood, this was a drains issue to which United utilities had to sort and was out of our control. With regards to the utility bill's(electric, gas etc), we have no control over the meters, we provide all utility companies with readings upon check-in and check-out dates. Any debt on the meters that you feel isn't yours then please take this up with the supplier that you was with at the time. GoogleAbsolutely disgusted with this Estaite agent. Gave my notice in for my property once I found a place to rent from this Estaite agent. Only to be lied too and they gave a load off excuses why the property wasn't being rented out anymore. They not only waisted my time and money they didn't even ring me back when I told them I had packed all my belongings to move into there property. I had to keep ringing them then and saying what am I going to do. They returned my deposit which they also promised to return traveling expenses which they didn't. They knew the landlady had told the last tenants to move out of her property and still took viewings knowing she was a disgrace of a landlord. All im saying is dont look to remt somewhere through this Estaite agents unless you want to be left packed and no where to go
Hi Linda, Thanks for the comments and I do fully appreciate where you are coming from in terms of your frustration. However, as we explained to yourself this is not something we are proud of, but some landlords do unfortunately decide against renting to which this is out of our control which again, as explained to yourself at the time does make us look bad as an agent however this truly out of our control. With regards to your deposit yes we did give you a full refund but unfortunately the money for transport can not be refunded from our side however this was looked into. We apologise about what has happened and would be delighted to find you something in the future as we know as a company you would have been a fantastic tenant and we were sad when the decision was made by the landlord. GoogleAfter having spoke with every estate agent in Blackpool while looking for investment properties to buy, it became very clear, very quickly that Christie King were the most professional of them all. Not only that they have gone above and beyond in what they have done for me, they continue to provide me with a outstanding service. I have purchased one property through them and now use them to manage my investment property with another being added soon. They are a small team with excellent local knowledge and expertise, Oliver looks after me mainly and I can't recommend them highly enough.

GoogleApparently you will never get a house to let even though you have been with this letting Agents previously and have savings and good references, they only give houses out to working class it seems, I have been waiting 2 years I try to apply but it’s a shambles of a system were they gather all applications and mix them up ( supposedly) clearly they have no compassion regarding people’s circumstances!!!
We’re sorry you feel this way. Unfortunately credit checks and previous tenancies are taken into consideration when landlords make their decisions.

Unfortunately, you failed to disclose information on your application which is why this money was withheld from your holding deposit. Apologies you feel this way but you did sign a declaration for us to hold all monies should anything arise that we were not told and in good faith we gave 50% back to you. Good afternoon, we are sorry to hear about your 1 star review. We receive on average 130 emails each day requesting viewings for our rental properties. Because of this we physically cant offer everyone a viewing so have our own system in place to help us accommodate as many people as we can which has worked for us for the last three years now.
