After being told rent was negotiable and practically being begged to come for a viewing I booked to see a place with this agency. Spoke to Jibar who was a very rude person, doesn’t have any courtesy or class, a very unprofessional worker that seems miserable with no care for the agency he represents. He even said there was no point booking to view as rent wasn’t negotiable from the landlord even though this was the only reason I booked the viewing! We dodged a bullet with this one. Don’t make a mistake going with this agency- would definitely AVOID.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!! I used to work for CEA so can speak from personal experience. Do NOT trust these people! All the negative reviews are correct. The owner Jabar is one of the most useless, rude and unprofessional people I have ever meet. Jabar’s wife is just his puppet, she’s uneducated, ugly AND anorexic. The others aren’t much better. They rob from their staff and customers. Best decision I ever made was to leave this company.

Where do I start? Inflated rent prices, lackadaisical communication and poor property management. I rented a property from CEA for a period of 12 months. The road started bumpy and winding. We were promised move in dates which were consistently not met, effectively rendering us homeless and having to stay at friend's houses, which wasn't ideal. When we went to view the house for the first time, the agent didn't show up and the previous tenants had to show us round - boundlessly unprofessional. The house when we inherited it was in poor condition. There was rubble left in the front garden and waste from the previous tenants. The interior was in acceptable condition but signs of the previous tenants was visible, including food left in the kitchen cupboards. During the Christmas period we had sewage - almost two inches thick in places - in the back garden. This wasn't sorted promptly and remained for weeks. One of our housemates suffered with mould and mildew in her room for most of the winter and the effects lasting for the rest of the tenancy. Communication between estate agent and ourselves was always late or even forgotten about. They continually promised us they'd get back to us but we were often left with further correspondence. Another housemate had a leaking ceiling towards the end of the tenancy that was never looked at or fixed. I go the impression that there was no communication in the office and things that should have taken a day, took a week or more and were never answered. Avoid at all costs.

The owner and his wife make out that they are rich and successful, when the truth is that they don't own a penny between them. The cars and offices are rented, the designer wear is purchased with credit cards and their holidays are funded by not giving their tenants their deposit money back. The insurance business is in over 1 million pound debt and the estate agent business is in over 160K debt due to their fake lavish lifestyle. Avoid these frauds at all costs!

F graded business owned and run by an F graded uneducated couple that are both fraudsters. They are both well know in the Easton Muslim community and not for the right reasons. They make out that they are rich and successful when the truth is that they don't own a penny between them. The insurance business is in over 1 million pound debt and the estate agent business is in over 160K debt due to their fake lavish lifestyle. "Woe to those who deal in fraud, the ones who give short measure. When they take from others they take full measure, but they have no problem defrauding others." Pray to Allah and ask for your sins to be cleansed.

Quite frankly a pretty poor letting agency. Not only were the agency fees extortionately high, we received zero help in return for this. Firstly, they lost our application documents twice and we had to resend, all whilst threatening to take the letting away from us. Then once they had handed over our keys, told us they would have no more to do with the property whilst we were living there (including many issues with our landlord that they refused to get involved in). Finally, they rarely even answered the phone or our emails, including us trying to sort moving out of the house and payment of deposit.

called to enquire about a room in a shared house anywhere in Filton. I am a student and its not my first year in Bristol. Anyways today, 16th July 2020 around 10:30am I called a guy answered the phone with just 'hello?' I have been in customer service and I swear there is a script that should be said when anyone phones. I specifically put the time and date so the management can do something about this guy I have spoken to because he told me to look for a room to rent in Scotland instead ( "you're looking in the wrong town/city go to Scotland"). How rude is that? if you are trying to sell something your top priority is to promote your brand and then suggest another if you're unable to get to the customer's request. he did not even suggest any alternatives within Bristol. Im not even valued as a potential customer very unprofessional and so please train your people properly. you might be EXPERTS but NOT PROFESSIONALS

Such an awful experience, avoid at all costs! Very unresponsive agents and were so rude throughout my time at the house. Lots of issues with the house including leaking bathroom which resulted in part of the ceiling falling down. Despite numerous emails to let them know when the issue was still minor, they only responded once we called and had plaster all over the hallway! They then blamed it on us to the landlord creating lots of tension. I spent lots of time making the pretty shabby house nicer during my time there but they still held on to deposit for ages making us completely re paint house and remove lots of previous tenants belongings despite it being a state when I moved in. Using CEA was an exhausting and stressful experience in every way and honestly felt like every decision they made was to try and get as much money out of us as possible. DO NOT USE!!!

Hands down the worst service I have ever received. Incredibly unprofessional and rude the whole way through. We were asked numerous times if we had paid the agency fees after we had paid them, and told not to bother reading the contract as most of it wouldn't apply to us anyway. We were initially told we wouldn't need a guarantor, and that we could have a choice of 6 or 12 month tenancy, which was then gone back on without any explanation why. Felt cheated and lied to. Not to mention the property was half finished and not as described, and CEA then took no responsibility for this. Avoid at all costs!

Absolutely awful experience with this estate agents. After finding a house to rent that suited us perfectly, we were emailed being told an incorrect amount due to be paid as the deposit and agency fees. We then got re-emailed saying that we owed another thousand pounds, AFTER me ringing up to check that we had secured our house. When we then decided that this was an extortionate amount of money and demanded to get a refund, it took days to receive the money back. I had to ring up multiple times a day where they gave me a time that we would certainly have our money back but they continued to disappoint us and postpone the deadline, clearly thinking that it is unimportant to return £5000 to 6 students who desperately needed it to pay a deposit for another house. Incredibly stressful and poorly organised business, I wouldn’t recommend to anyone looking for houses.

AVOID!!! I would put a zero on this but unfortunately I can’t. Extremely rude. Terrible customer service. No communication. Waiting outside a property to rent in Easton but they didn’t turn up. Said they didn’t receive our email to confirm the booking even though it was confirmed on the phone the day before. Everyone in the team we spoke to were rude. I’m not surprised why the housing crisis is so awful with people like this! Don’t deal with these people or give them any of your time or money. AVOID!!!

Unprofessional and rude staff. If you do not agree or listen to them, they will proceed to talk over you then put the phone down repeatedly.Would not touch this company with a 10ft barge pole. They are just happy to take your money and that's it.If you have a complaint it will not be dealt with or you will be accused of lying.AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I just had a telephone conversation with one of the estate agents about letting a property that we saw on right move. We explained the situation that one of our group is a deferred student for health reasons and the estate agent was extremely rude asking if this individual would damage the house due to his illness. This was disgusting behaviour and discriminating against a person because of their health is illegal. The conversation ended with the estate agent hanging up.

I have been really impressed with the service from Vic and the CEA Homes team when renting a property with other students. Friendly and informative service and great communication from start to finish - an incredibly smooth and professional process throughout. Vic treated us great and tried to provide us with every we needed as tenants: you can't get much better than that. I would definitely recommend to others, they are great.

We attempted to apply for a property with CEA and ended up just finding somewhere else because they took so long to answer our emails and generally messed us around. We were told one thing at the viewing and then another thing every time we rang. This went on for three weeks (bearing in mind we were anxious to get something secured) until we revoked our application.

Despite new laws being months away from being passed to reduce agency fees this company did their best to rush us to confirm the rental as soon as possible, a total of £2100 for the company to then say "please do not contact us as you are now in contact with the landlord" shows they are just in it for the money and nothing else.

We have had a great experience letting through the agency and would most definitely consider them for the future and recommend you to others. Our apartment was lovely and issues fixed immediately. They were helpful when we lost our keys returning from our holiday and they returned our deposit in full very promptly when we moved out.

Very bad experience, bad customer service, disorganised, ridiculous costs involved without being forewarned. Reluctant to give us the contract to read before paying fees. Definitely would not recommend them for student lettings and can't stress enough how unhelpful the service was.
