Located on the corner of Fulham Palace Road and Wardo Avenue SW6, Marsh & Parsons' Bishops Park Estate Agents offers properties for sale and properties to rent in the Bishops Park area of Fulham including the Alphabet Streets, Crabtree Estate, Hurlingham and Munster Village. Situated on the western side of Fulham, the Bishops Park area follows the Thames, from Putney Bridge right round to Hammersmith Broadway, encompassing the Munster Village to the east. The area includes an eclectic mix of property, ranging some of the largest houses for sale in SW6, such as those on Cloncurry, Doneraile and Ellerby Streets through to the smaller two bedroom workman's cottages found on Horder Road in the Munster Village. The popularity of the area continues to grow amongst families and young professionals alike, which is not surprising considering how tranquil it is - despite being within easy reach of the amenities of Fulham Palace Road, Hammersmith Broadway and Parsons Green. Bishops Park itself has recently undergone a multi-million pound restoration project, and now offers one of the most beautiful open spaces in south west London, complete with children’s play area, beach and ornamental lake. Bishops Park is also home to Fulham Palace, former residence of the Bishop of London up until 1975. The stunning palace and grounds are open to the public and definitely worth a visit. SW6 is also lucky enough to be home to two major football stadiums, including Chelsea's Stamford Bridge next to Fulham Broadway and Fulham's Craven Cottage, next to Bishops Park on the banks of the Thames, one of the most picturesque settings of any league club. A short walk north along the Thames path is Thames Wharf, home of world famous architects Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, responsible for projects including Chiswick Park, Lloyd's of London and The Leadenhall Building. You'll also find the Michelin Star River Cafe on the ground floor of the building, not only famous for its cuisine, but also producing top chefs including Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Jamie Oliver. GoogleWe dealt with Alasdair in the lettings department who was very helpful and efficient. The properties we were able to view matched our requirements well and we found a property we really liked. We were able to negotiate a great agreement on the flat we liked and the process of signing the agreements etc was easy as you were able to sign electronically so a lot easier than having to go into branch. The fees seemed comparable to most agents although we received a discount due to our employer so appreciated being told about that. The referencing process was pretty involved (but I think that's a sign of the times and probably true for most agents) and used an outside company but it was a fast process with everything progressing quickly and good communication throughout. I cannot yet comment on the check in process or property management etc as we are yet to move but happy so far.

GoogleWe were taken care of by Alasdair in the lettings department who was friendly, helpful, and extremely effective. The properties he showed us matched our requirements mostly, and we were able to fulfil our requirements once we chose a place and Alisdair spoke to the landlord. During the viewing process, Alisdair did a good job of showing the full range of possibilities without showing us places that were completely outside our requirements or limits. We found a property we loved, and Alisdair helped us negotiate a great agreement on the changes we required on the flat. The process of signing the agreements etc was easy, quick, and efficient. He is knowledgable not only local savvy but also, prices and procedures relating to purchase. He needs no recommendation as he creates a good impression and follows thru on queries, appts, etc. One of a few efficient and personable negotiators I met.

Richard listened to my requirements and after seeing 30 flats with other agents - he was able to help me find a flat in one day. When I had to find a new flat this winter, I immediately emailed Richard, who I delighted to hear managed the office, and he put me in touch with Lewis McClymont. Lewis did even better! We found a flat in one morning (Richard taught him well). Lewis and Richard (and Marsh Parsons -Bishops Park) would be the first place I would direct friends, family, or anyone to go to look to rent or buy!

GoogleTerrible experience. Landlord originally agreed to a certain amount. Then didn’t send me a contract. I have chased for 3 weeks and only got communication today that they want to raise the rent by £150 a month. Greedy and horrible communication. Don’t go with this company!
