GoogleWe purchased and completed within 14 days. The process was straight forward and all our correspondence was replied to promptly. Cherisse was very helpful from the point of sale through to completion. This is the first time we have used an auction service and would recommend Taylor James Auctions for a smooth process.

GooglePlenty of bad reviews and valid reasons to avoid this company. There is better companies that have auctions at better rates. This is a con scheme avoid them
Thank you for your review Krishna, we have no record of ever having had any dealings with you - so I would love to know what your assertions are based on? however it is a funny coincidence that you are connected with Stoke where the previous two bad reviews have come from and also that the man who has just lost a court case regarding non payment of deposit also comes from Stoke! If you have a real dispute don't hesitate to contact us but simply putting fake reviews isn't going to achieve anything!

GoogleThis would be zero if it could be. After purchasing a flat via their auction site they took my deposit with out their due diligence on the seller. The legal pack made available after the sale had all kinds of information missing as well as extra special conditions that equated to an extra £8000! After trying to pull out of this deal and have my payment refunded via my solicitor Taylor James were non responsive & I ended up losing nearly £10,000 from a fraudulent company with no help from Taylor James at all. I encourage anyone looking at a property been sold by Taylor James to seek a solicitors advice first as Taylor James will be of no help once they have taken money from you.
I am afraid your review is misleading - No legal documents were added after the auction, all legal documents were available to see before you bid and all extra costs were detailed clearly. Far from being non responsive, we spoke with your solicitors numerous times and assisted throughout the completion period. If you did not read through the legal pack before purchasing we cannot be held responsible for this. Finally, of course we do our due diligence on our sellers before taking on a property but that has no relevance at all in your case as this has nothing to do with the seller or their ownership of the property.

GoogleEasy to bid. Good prices for investors. Be careful of hidden costs (buyers premium, ) I had to pay for seller's fees, searches, solicitor fees... Time is not enough. I got all the contacts and documents after 2 weeks , and had only 10 days to complete. Seller's solicitor was delaying a lot and I had to pay rent and penalties for it as well. Once I received answers from seller- I only had 1 day to complete and do all searches...impossible

GoogleStay well away from this auctioneer .. sale agreed with the vendor all confirmed and agreed purchase price . Happy to pay the reservation fee all of a sudden no contact from the office or email correspondence numerous calls from myself and my business partner . Many hours later we receive a call that the offer has been rejected all of a sudden and another offer has been accepted without any viewings taking place as we was present at the property .We will be taking this to the property ombudsman and taking legal action . Clearly an inside job where the auctioneer has sold the ‘deal’ to another client / investor without informing anyone and not taking the best interest for the client at any stage as we had been willing to offer much higher .
Please see our response to your colleague/partners review below. It seems you are upset as the vendor decided to go with a competing offer which as experienced property buyers I would have thought you would understand how making an offer works. The vendor was keen to go with the buyer who could complete in the quickest timescale and the opposing offer was able to do this. It is extremely unfair of you and your family to leave reviews which are factually incorrect and have no basis. You are making accusations which have no validity and have been reported to google.

GoogleSTAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Vendor gave instructions to them to exchange contracts on our offer at a preferential price as he was our 30+ yr neighbour. James Taylor auctioneers did not follow clients instruction and sold the house to another party at the same price whilst me and my husband were waiting for account details to deposit funds and were being ignored. In the background Jame Taylor were lining someone else to take our opportunity away. They took our potential family home away from us! This company should be shut down permanently as it is fraudulent!!!

GoogleAfter initially panicking about the fee not going back into my bank as quick as I thought, I cannot fault this company. They took time to explain to me the process, even whilst I was not the easiest to speak to and put my mind at ease. Isaac was a delight , would Definately use them again, no problems at all, the bidding process was so easy and straightforward. Thanks everyone

Google*** keep well away from this auctioneer *** Agreed a preferential price below reserve as the seller was a neighbour. Once I communicated our deal with the auctioneer instead of following clients instructions to exchange of my offer Taylor James began ignoring my calls and sold the property someone else as they seen this as a opportunity to buy internally. Sounds very suspicious.. Just opened a case with property ombudsman. Take my genuine advise keep well away
As we have stated in replies to your other family members, you are not telling the truth at all. The property sold to a bidder who could satisfy the vendors specific requests regarding completion timescales. We have followed our client instructions throughout and we know exactly who you are and what you are trying to do.

Agree with Vit Kos. It's a deliberate ploy to slip in a fee without your notice, it is common practice, and they aren't doing anything outside the law, but it is irritating all the same.

GoogleIf I could give zero I would, & wished I'd of read the reviews first. Very bad experience initially started good until the figures came in, that was a shocker & way too low I did feel pressured & harassed by calls etc. Felt They wanted an instant descion & gave false information which I checked out with my solicitor, I did get a few apologies about the initial recommended value admitting it was low. What if I had agreed??. Avoid this company and their associates give them a wide berth.

As Discussed with you many times over the phone - the extra charges are not our charges and have been paid to the seller of the property. All additional fees are listed clearly in the legal pack which you had the opportunity to view before bidding on the lot. I am sorry you chose not to read the legal pack before purchasing but we cannot be held responsible for this. We urge all prospective bidders to read the legal packs before bidding and this is also clearly outlined on our website.

GoogleCorruption at its finest. These people will scam you. Avoid them. They are a criminal group trying to sell broken properties. And make money out of hard working people.

Edit - We do not seem to have had any dealings with you previously so would be interested to know how you came to this conclusion, it wouldn't happen to have anything to do with your Stoke connections would it!

GoogleI've just completed on a property I bought in the last auction! Extremely happy with the service received. Reviews I had read stated there were extra fees in the legal pack, however, once I contacted the office, I was advised by the team that all terms and conditions (including any extra fees) would be included in the legal pack provided before bidding. I would definitely use Taylor James in the future, and am looking forward to the next auction.

I had a really bad experience with these guys. Once they have received their payment deposit for the property they have on auction. They become non responsive. Prior to that they send threatening emails out about closure of account and cancellation of contract. The contract they provided was misleading and the sale was cancelled as the solicitors found many faults in the contract. They would not associate them with the sale of the property at that point, and referred me to a third party. Although all payments were paid to Taylor James Auction. From that point I knew it was a fraudulent company and that I lost £8000 on deposits plus another 900 on fees for the conveyance solicitors. Please avoid them at all cost.
