We can not speak of St Modwen Homes highly enough. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the house and if we ever decide to move, we would only choose St Modwen again. We went for St Modwen because they are famous for light and space and I must say we were not disappointed. The rooms are spacious, big, airy and light. Even bathrooms are of a very good size and all have a window letting the light in (except for the cloak room in our case as it’s in the middle of the house). I must say, there was not much communication from the sales team after the sale, but with Covid19 perhaps it’s normal. The quality of the build is exceptional and many of our friends who came to visit were surprised at that. Some of our friends who have been ‘loyal’ to older buildings even said that if this is the quality of St Modwen then they don’t mind buying a new-build. We expected to have some snags, as it is very normal. We did, but they were very minor and actually we were extremely pleased with the care that we received after moving in. All initial snags were sorted out immediately, and any other snags that we reported later in the next few months were sorted out right away. Damion, who is St Modwen customer service manager at Tayleur Leas development has been amazing. He was popping in at least once a week for the first few months to make sure we are happy and he sorted any issues we had. This superman really deserves a good pay rise. We feel happy in our new home and we are very pleased with the support and care that we have been provided by St Modwen Homes. We would definitely recommend people to choose this builder for a stress-free high-quality home.

Great home and company!

We live on the lovely littlecombe estate and are very happy with our purchase made a year ago. We have had a few snags and customer service have dealt with everything we raised. There have been some delays with covid, but who hasn’t been effected in some way by the pandemic?! I’m surprised there are some negative reviews about St Modwen. My experience has definitely been positive and I would buy from them again. Lovely spacious contemporary homes built to a high standard!

Excellent Customer Service

Hi, just wanted to sing the praises of St Modwen Customer ServiceI recently had to have some drain work carried out right outside my front door, and although the team who carried out the work assured me that everything would be put back exactly as it was, this was not the case, and plants were destroyed and missing, lawn damaged, and slabs left uneven and wobbling.Spoke with my neighbor, and he advised me to contact Kelly in customer services.Couple of emails later, and it's sorted (Hopefully), she managed to take a look at things, get a quote for the work, and get it booked in (at no cost to me)Excellent customer service.

Homes are hit and miss a number of houses on the a Heathy Wood estate have had minor and major issues. The after care when dealing with issues is a very long and drawn out process. One thing that stands out o my home is the pointing. Such a simple task but it's been rushed and looks very poor.

really Bad customer service

really Bad customer service. Poor quality subcontractor once you get your home no-one bother and no one try to short out your problems. even they don't know different between clay and top soil. when you will dig your garden you will find stone and waste material like old pipe wires, plastic. got my house last December still waiting for tree front of my house when call to customer service we will sort out soon but no one know when.

Build quality is good, But!

I've been in the house for almost 3 months and there is still work that needs finishing of.Build quality is very high, but information flow from the sales team to the builders seems to not always work impacting the buyer who has to chase on work to be done whilst they are in the house.And the handover didn't match my expectations, no new home stickers or posters on the door just a handover of keys basically.

The sales advisor was okay except it felt like he was rushing the whole process and cared more about finalising the sale than giving me all the information I needed before making a decision. I was never informed about the timings of how quickly everything needed to be sorted and found myself asking a lot of questions that I think should have just been told to me without me having to ask.
