Carrington Thorn reviews

I didn't have the smoothest move in experience partly because of my own mistakes but there were significant issues with the property when I moved in relating to it's cleanliness and maintenance. I can say that Tajinder and Chandan at Carrington Thorn were really responsive, quick and organised at managing the issues that I ran into. Carrington Thorn have been very easy to get through to on the phone. Even though the agency is based in a different city to the property I was renting, Chandan was prompt and arranged the cleaning I needed within a week. It did massively inconvenience me in terms of movers and plans made, luckily I had an overlap with my previous home so I had somewhere to stay. However I'm confused about this agency handover situation that supposedly was the cause of the issues. I think even if another agency is managing a property beforehand, the landlord should have been kept in the loop regarding the state of their property. It seems they were completely unaware. There are difficulties with managing distant properties, for example the local inventory clerk who handed me my keys and did the check in inventory disappeared, which I suppose is more of a problem for Carrington Thorn and the landlord than me. I think Chandan did the best he could in a bad situation and I can't fault the communication which has been good. I'm pleased my concerns were taken seriously and dealt with. But for my next time renting I would choose a local agent with an in house property management team if possible.

I was recommended this boutique agent to source two investment properties in Birmingham. I was amazed at how quickly they came up with the goods! We completed last week. A big shout out to Bobby and Taj who work incredibly well as a duo. What I was most impressed was their there no nonsense, transparent and assisted guide on where we were at any moment in the transaction . They didn't hesitate to go back to the seller when they were being unreasonable or where it was merited . They are very professional and really understand the seller as well as the buyer Iit felt like we had a concierge service from the agents which is almost unheard of ! A Professional , discrete and polite service with the buyer and seller at the heart of the transaction . A true boutique agency experience. Thank you

I had the pleasure of working with Bobby during my recent move, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Bobby was patient, attentive, and knowledgeable. He took the time to understand my needs and preferences, never rushing me into a decision. Beyond just finding a place, he also went the extra mile to make sure my move-in process was smooth, helping coordinate with the landlord, addressing any concerns I had, and ensuring everything was in order before I settled in. I heartily recommend Bobby's services for any would-be renters

I couldn't have asked for a better service when looking the property management company like (Carrington Thorn) to help manage my rental. Chandan Sangar was an absolute pleasure to work with and understood that my moving situation came with its own challenges. Chandan has a Best Property Management skill with very positive attitude and attention to details with business and his marketing’s search. I'm so glad to know such a specialised person like Chandan Sangar and their work colleague as they really are the best. 100% recommend!*******

Excellent service, quick response time, reasonable prices and very dedicated firm led by young professionals. Compared to high street and known estate agencies, I found Carrington Thorn much more efficient and hardworking. Both Taj and Bobby were very dedicated, always working hard and they always respond back within 24 hours. Highly recommended.
