We’ve had a really positive experience renting through this estate agency and would happily recommend them. Any issues with the property were dealt with promptly and professionally, and communication throughout the tenancy was excellent. Although our tenancy was relatively short, the level of service and support we received in that time really highlighted how efficient and reliable the team are. Every member of staff we spoke to was always polite, friendly, and helpful, and messages were passed on quickly with callbacks arranged when needed. Leigh and Martin have always been lovely to deal with, very approachable, welcoming, and professional, and consistently polite whenever we spoke with them. A new fence was promised at the start of the tenancy and they followed through on this as agreed. Both of them are a real credit to the agency and made the whole process feel straightforward and well managed. We were also very grateful for how accommodating and thoughtful the team were with additional requests during our tenancy, including personally hand-delivering written confirmation, which was a really appreciated and personal touch. What we appreciated most is that you never feel like just another tenant, the team genuinely take the time to get to know you and clearly care about the people they work with. The handover process was smooth, and our full deposit was requested back within the hour, which says a lot about how efficiently and fairly they operate. My sister and I chose Barrett Last estate agents to sell our deceased Mother’s house after visiting several local estate agents. They were professional but extremely friendly and obviously had great experience and much local knowledge. Martin and his team looked after me and even helped me to find my Mother’s lost will. He also recommended a person to clear the furniture from Mum’s house. I have no hesitation in recommending Barrett Last estate agents, first class service and very friendly.

Poor customer service from Rachel Wall. I made an offer on a property and wasn’t comfortable sending personal details until my offer was accepted. It was a cash offer but she didn’t want to listen and got very passive aggressive then I had to remind her legally she needs to present my offer. I was happy to provide everything but there was no need for the rude and aggressive behaviour. Response to your reply; PLEASE don’t lie and try to justify your colleagues rude behaviour by trying to make up lies and make me look like the bad guy. I did not shout at your colleague or call her “woman” yes I didn’t view the property and I also know you took cash offers without viewings so it needs to be a rule throughout not just me. If this is how you treat applicants good luck to you and your company.

For those of you who are looking at selling a property and are wondering who to give your business to, look no further. This is the second time we have used Barratt Last and cannot recommend them enough. We initally spent time with Martin, who came round to view our property, explained the process and showed people around the house. He was on hand anytime of day, if we had any questions and would always get back to us. He is a really nice man, approachable, makes you feel at ease and it is evident the experience he has with the housing market. Once the sale had been agreed, we were the put in the very capable hands of Rachel, what an absolute star!! She made sure that everything was kept on track. She kept us updated and informed us throughout the whole process and was always at the end of the phone if we needed her.
