Could not fault Satchells handling of our recent house move. The process was handled efficiently and professionally enabling our move to proceed at speed. Emily and her team were always on hand to take queries, always responding quickly and reassuringly and offering advive to help the move along. They also went above and beyond liaising with our solicitor and house purchase on our behalf. I cannot recommend Satchells enough. If you are considering a move, I’d place Satchells top of your list for agents.

Having viewed two properties through Satchells, I was left with the distinct impression that this is an estate agents that cares and goes that extra mile. Grace was the lady who guided me through my viewings and was very knowledgeable, warm and affable. We were also joined by the MD of the company, Alan, who impressed me with his knowledge of development and was also warm and affable. This is a weird one. While I didn't buy the property, but Jake Alexander from Biggleswade office has been exceptional, to the point where I asked him if there is a way for me to leave a review. He'd shown exceptional pro active attitude by calling me every now and then offering me a new property he thinks I might be interested in. In 7 months of looking for a house, no EA has done that. Though I have finally found a house elsewhere, I was still impressed with Jake's professionalism and nice demeanour.

I had a very bad experience with this firm. Back in January I viewed a house which they didn’t tell me was already in the process of being sold. I was encouraged to put a counter offer in which I did as the property was lovely. I spoke to Tom Haines who didn’t listen to me and got over excited about the offer, then accused me the next week of not telling him I had a chain (my flat was under offer from a cash buyer) once I put it in writing - it was the first thing I said to him. I was very clear that I did not want to be a pawn in someone else’s property deal or used as leverage and needed a quick decision. We never heard back from the sellers and Tom gave up updating in the end.. about a week later the sellers relisted with a third estate agent which I sent to Tom and received no reply. This firm seemed to have no control over their seller, no clear communication line and Tom was a typical salesy estate agent… I’ve now moved to a new property and full disclosure I have written reviews of all the estate agents I came across in my process, good and bad. It still wrankles me they allowed us to view a house that simply wasn’t for sale and that we never received a response on our offer - totally unprofessional and this agency was one of the worst we encountered. Update: in response to the below, to clarify, at the time of booking the viewing when the property was advertised as ‘for sale’ and NOT SOLD STC, we were not told that it was under offer. We were only informed this by the time we got to the property having driven 90 miles and saw the sold sign - which we queried immediately. This is clearly a misrepresentation. As for rest of my review I stand by it - I did state the seller never came back, but this seller was clearly flaky which as a professional estate agent should have been called out earlier, given all your experience. One thing I’ve noticed with estate agents is that they hate bad reviews!

We have dealt with Satchells Estate Agents since January while purchasing a new home. I dealt with Grace Hall at the Biggleswade branch and can honestly say she has brilliant throughout the process of buying our new home. Nothing was too much trouble for her and answered all my emails soon after sending them to her and phoning me when she needed to talk to me, nothing was too much trouble for her. I would highly recommend using Satchells to either sell or purchase any property and hope you would be lucky enough to deal with Grace. Thanks Grace you have been great. We complete tomorrow (1st April) I doubt we would of without Grace’s help.

I cannot praise the team at Satchells, Biggleswade highly enough. Satchells were my go to for estate agents as I had always heard postive things. This was our first time selling a house and they made it so easy! Was very quick getting it on the market and it did sell within 3 days! Communication was great, would always pick up the phone/answer emails and would also keep us in the loop. Although the sale did take about 6 months to complete due to solicitors the estate agents did a lot of chasing on our behalf as it was taking longer than usual. I spoke with mostly Rosie & Amy and they were both just so friendly and made everything just that bit easier. Thanks once again!!

We considered an online estate agency first but we thought the price of the house they suggested was far too low. Satchells were brilliant from the first meeting until the quick sale of the house at the asking price a couple of days after the house went on the market! Impressive! They guided us through the steps of the sale process, created a nice brochure of the property and managed the viewings with minimum inconvenience to us.
